Hey everyone

We're considering attending Chameleons in Darlaston.

We're both a bit wary and hate the thought of being followed around single guys, i know we could go when it's couples only but we're not entirely against the idea of single guys, we just don't want them following us and pestering us everywhere.

What are quiet but good times to go to Chams, i.e not as hectic but still busy enough to have a good but gentle introduction to the place

Either go a sat night after a certain time when no single men are there to get your confidence up but expect it to be busy or a daytime when single men can go but less busy.

When i go as a single female i get followed around by single men. So one of those things

You never really have problems with them following you around..

We are hoping to go next week in the day, and hoping its not to quiet.

Chams is a very difficult club for single guys to join and those with membership usually treat their membership with respect. It follows that they should also behave as appropriate or risk losing the ability to keep going to this brilliant club. I usually go on a Monday night when a different membership structure is used. Even then while single guys will mill about apparently somewhat aimlessly, I`ve never really seen anyone being completely abnoxious. I did go into the sauna with my lady friend and the single guys sat and wanked while they watched me and my lady friend doing .... nothing

which put my friend off a bit. But otherwise I would say that I think that you won`t have too much trouble with single guys, if any.

Ooh I like my fridays but then im a single girl. Sunday afternoons are great especially in the summer up on the amazing roof terrace.

There will be single guys in all the time except for Saturday nights.

They do follow you around, but you can go into private lockable rooms and leave them outside.

They don't usually cause any bother because they don't want to get kicked out.

If you are sitting in the lounge area, you do get them coming and sitting near you. If they start wanking, just ask them to stop, or politely tell them to go away. Or ask one of the staff to have a word with them.

They are pretty harmless though, so just go and enjoy yourselves and do your best to ignore them if you don't see any that take your fancy.

it's always a good time to go to chams... I went for the first time about 6 months ago and as a single female alone, and had no problems what so ever... never have had... everyone is so friendly and accepting and polite and considerate...you really have nothing to worry about no mater what night you go or how busy it is xx

i can honestly say i have never felt that i was being followed around by single guys there - not in a predatory way etc

I like going there early afternoon on Sundays when the place is quiet, and I can definitely find a space in the jacuzzi.

I go on my own, and have never had any issues with being followed/pestered by single gents.

Im guessing then that I'm the only person who hates chams??

We have been twice, once on a Saturday night (we found it very cliquey) and once on a Sunday night (when we were constantly followed, in fact I'd go as far as to say stalked by single guys).

I dont mind single guys at all and do play with them in clubs but we found that they stand in all the 'narrow' places so that you have to squeeze past them. Anything for the cheap boob graze or chance of a cheap grope!!

Now dont even get me started on Partners!!

Stalked, followed, fresh meat! was one night. Can be imtimidating! Lets not talk about getting too close!

oh another night 2 gentleman(if thats what you would call them) using mobile phones 1 in the bar area and 1 uptstairs.

But in fairness, we have really enjoyed other evenings, we are just picky when we go now and also with whom!

lol. I certainly never meant they follow you in a bad way.

Last time i went alone was.a.sunday and was.followed.around somewhat but wasnt concerned about it.

I went into the jacuzzi when there was one other couple inside and then within 5 mins there were about 4.single men in there too and another couple. If it was to do with me being in there which i guessed the guys were there hoping then i was flattered. Did have some fun in the pool but everyone asked before they touched.

Our first visit was a Friday night and we loved it - a couple of nice single guys and a couple

If you go to Chams you will have single guys following you.

Learn to ignore the followers... they are only annoying if you decide they are going to annoy you.

Be prepared to 'politely' tell a few of them "no thanks" or whatever else needs explaining... they are not mindreaders.

Sunday pm is good. Tuesday night is quiet. We started on a Tuesday, but all you have to say is "no thanks" and it tends to do the trick.

We now usually go on Friday nights. Busy though later. Enjoy xx

We went last Friday it was our first Friday there we had been a few times on the Sat and do enjoy the Sat nights ,but have to say we had a great time on friday and although there was quite a few guys there we had no problems with any of them although will be honest the round bed room was a little intimidating at times but everywhere else was great and we had a fab night

We never get asked for a membership card and have to say have never seen anyone show there's so think you would be fine just turning up although guys don't think that would work for you I'm afraid

yes you have to be a member and its dam hard to get for single guys, thats why is best to get taken in as a guest by a cpl

I've found Chams to be one of the friendliest clubs in the country, ticks pretty much all the boxes for me and as long as one knows how to behave (and that goes for couples and single females alike) then there's never been anything to worry about.

Sadly, there will always be the "vultures" that follow peopel around, however:

1) People like that exist at pretty much every club - not just Chams.

2) People like that stick out like a sore thumb and get noticed quickly, so they're easy to avoid.

I can't wait for my next Chams fix!!!!

I went recently as a single female on the last BBW bash, i found all the single guys very well behaved as that was my fear of being on my own, i had friends there that i was meeting, but obviously wasnt with them all evening but found everyone very pleasant and not pushy at all,

was a totally naughty girl rest of the time tho hehehe
