We have been chatting to a couple and when it came time to swap face pics, realised that I knew the female from work. Anyone had similar, what should we do?

Depends on what your comfy with but if it's a case of too close for comfort leave it there and respect discretion. Dont say to much in case they recognise you from work too

Yes a colleague messaged us with a face picture, we blocked him it was too close for comfort.

You must do what you're most comfortable with.

You could do a few things really.

Tell them that you recognise them so won't be sending your face pic as it's too close to home. Obviously that puts them at a huge disadvantage as you have something over them so discretion is key.

You could just go cold on them and block with no further reply.

You could let them down by saying you don't find them attractive enough to want to take things further (ouch but fair).

We don't have anything against swinging with people we know from vanilla life but you need to trust them that they won't leak information. If you don't think you could trust them then I'd cut them loose.

You said you swapped face pics. Assuming by swap you both sent photos then they may already have recognised you?

You could just say that you both work in the same place and ask them or her if it would make them uncomfortable? If it does then block and move on, if not it could be the start of a friendship. If that's what you want?

Shouldn't be a problem of you can keep your work relationship professional. No asking for a quicky at lunch... That sort of thing.

The only problem is if either side wants to mix business with pleasure!

You swapped pics? - Did she recognise you too and hasn't said anything? Maybe they are worried now too - could be time for a chat with them assuring discretion etc and deciding whether to take it further

If they recognize u too they might be equally horrified so just be honest and say u dint think it's good to proceed.

It's inevitable you'll run into someone you know from your regular life (work or otherwise) if you swing enough. Especially at parties, clubs etc. Unless I hated that person for other reasons, it wouldn't bother me. Enough coworkers have over the years seen me get picked up by different men from work at closing time so they all probably know I swing....

One of the first people I chatted to ended up being an old school acquaintence and his wife. All is fine, but we don't play.

Easy, fake your own death, and never leave the house again.

It's fine tbh if you know them and asking what to do you must know yourself you'd like too lol X go for it but just remember think about what happens when/if work gets in the way. We've been there done that and still friends xxxx
