I've been on Fab for quite a while now and have had a few meets, and am not alone in attracting timewasters. I have adapted my profile regularly to try and be clear about what I want, sometimes feel it verges into being overly negative so try and hold back to avoid putting off genuine folk, not sure if there is a middle ground? Sorry yes it's another 'what's wrong with my profile' pleas lol

It's well written, says exactly what you do and don't want but I think "verges" on negative is an understatement, you make quite a lot of demands including provision of a hotel room. Now I'm not saying that's wrong your profile should say exactly what you want in my opinion, the question "is are you prepared to compromise?", if the answers "no" then leave it as it is.

i'm similar, i get the urge to chat to guys, then they piss me off and mess me about and BS me, my profile goes negative...you can't help it sometimes.

you could always do what i do eventually, and that is i remove all the negatives and only interact with those who send me message me with what i actually want.

you do have to fairly ignorant to do this. but it means i don't go into negative profile mode and don't get pissed off with half the crap that comes to my inbox.

plus points are people cant bullshit you and pretend to be what you're looking for then reveal themselves to be full of shit down the line after you've invested time in them by chatting.

i'd say yours is slightly negative yes.

Thanks there are parts that have been put in such as the accommodate clause due to wasted conversations clearly going nowhere - I will look at the wording though x I do expect single guys to make more of an effort, much happier to be easygoing with couples lol xx

Thanks for the opinions, taken on board and cut back on the negativity, let's be honest it doesn't deter the timewasters and just annoys genuine fabbed so it's not the way to go xx

I think it reads very well it current format.

We struggle a lot with timewasters and unfortunately it is often genuine people who suffer as we don't get round to answering all the emails and then find we missed an absolute gem amongst them.

Being more specific about what we want has leaped to reign in the incoming make a lot.

Reads well to me too now. You repeat the 'wanting to be treated like a girl' but then I guess why not hammer that home as it's important to you.

I would take out the pet hates bit and I'm not a fan of "if you have read this far" on profiles...don't think for a minute people shouldn't read all your profile your worth it dahling....the rest of it I loved and thot it was a great profile. ..p.s love the shoes....had to fab. Mrs A x
