It's actuall only a kilt if it is a registered tartan and is 8 yards long with the patterns on the pleats matching the front it should be made of wool

It is then worn on the tummy button to a position above the knee

Anything els or worn in any other way is a skirt

Yes, though I javent got one personnaly quite a few of my mates have and wear them regularly at bike rally's. And yes, they wear them the traditional way with added cooling to thw gonads...

Some definitions below from the Oxford Dictionary to assist everyone.

Personally I think most men look good in leather kilts. Would agree that they can look less good and a bit skirt-like when worn too long (below the knee).

I'm a big fan of the very short gladiator-style kilts. More hot men wearing those please.

I have met a guy in a leather kilt when at Jd's .. very nice if you have good cyclist legs.. (he did) some of the girls did investigate further and seemed happy with the result.
