Please can people tell me correct protocol for veri's.

I've been lucky enough to meet some really decent folks on here.

Couples and singles.

I've always verify after a meet.

Nothing too intimate, but on a couple of occasions I've not had s verification back. I've messaged them, asked politely if they could do one for me.

One couple then blocked me, another no reply.

What to do.

Wait for my verification before doing theirs.

As a single guy, I am a gentleman and respectful so believe in doing theirs first

I feel this must be a spontaneous action or else it seems forced ...

Veris are overrated in my opinion, I don't care much for them, I can't receive them anyway because of my age filters which I'm not changing. Don't worry about it, meet for the fun, not the veri. Some people don't send them but as the other poster said, its a bit rude to ask for one. Just because you sent one doesn't necessarily mean you will get one back.

Personally, I hate it when someone I've met does me a veri without asking if I want one first.

If a single man doesn't have any I'll ask them if they want me to do one for them but I tell them not to do one for me.

To my mind, if someone sends a verification after a meet and the recipient does not reciprocate then it is a strong indication they did not enjoy the encounter and are not looking for a repeat.

Veri's are not the be all and end all of a meet... It doesn't bother me whether I get one or not tbh..

But if you are so hung up about them maybe you should wait and see what they say about you first before doing yours... That way they set the tone and there is no fear of offending anyone

I asked people to verify in past as we had none... Now that we are apparantely alive I wont be asking for more, and I do ask if couple want us to verify.. So ultimately, verification is by no means advertisment of your previous performance it is only verification that you are safe to be with...Other complimentary comments happen in our private messages...

We have met a few couples who we have sent verifications and have not received any in reply, but we don't take offence by that nor pursue them for a verification, it's just the way it is sometimes

I always ask if people I meet want verifying. Sometimes they are couples who don't meet single guys but have met me and if I was to verify might give them unwanted attention.

Personally If I had a meet, left a veri and then was blocked I would be very surprised.

I know there are people that don't show veris and in such cases I will just send a mail to thank them for time even if social

Recently I have had 3 veris that I have given but they haven't reciprocated which is fine but sometimes I do think hmmmmm

To me a verification is just to state im a real person, not a trophy after ive had a shag lol i have the green tick therefore im real, so further verifications arent really needed.. i dont mind getting them though but nothing graphic

i agree with this .. On my personal account i only do verifications in reply as i belive thats polite .. like replying to a text .. Of course its the persons option wheth they show it.

Over the years I ve witnessed a lot of falseness and pretence in those given to many and the reasons behind them ..so they really are nt worth much other than to confirm you are a real person male or female or couple.

On my events profiles I always veriy if asked as thats about promoting and helps newbies on their way x

the rudest people are those that ask and then never return . thats disrespectful x

Why would anyone be worried about verifications . Who needs to know whom you have meet ?

As long as you have a decent well written profile , members can make their own assessment of you.

I don't think they matter to be honest, though I can see why people who aren't verified would like to get the tick...

My take on it is that when you meet someone you know they are genuine/had a good time [er, hopefully]/can stay in touch or otherwise/whatever else...Just not sure why the whole world needs to know about it...Not saying I am right, just my take on it...I have done veris, of course I have, but will discuss it first.

Verifications are supposed to confirm that a person is genuine. Not about how good they are in bed.

I think a veri is a nice way to say we met and these people/ this person is genuine and actually meets people. Doesn't have to go into detail but lets other people know that they are active on the scene and are pleasant. As let's face it nobody would leave a veri for someone they found unpleasant. We do find that we use verifications to make a decision to bother with people, been here a year no veris ... likely not an active meeter

Verifications are only important if you haven't got one ... and even then I don't think they're very important. I don't read them, I don't give them, I don't want them, I don't display them.

I would give someone their first verification, however, because I know other people DO give more weight to verifications than I do. But it would only ever be "was the gender they claimed to be, turned up on time, freshly showered, and looked like their pics". I really really hate over-explicit verifications.

No, I think it's really gross. I have actually declined to meet some people, based on the fact that they give/display overly-explicit verifications. I don't want to know what my meets have done with other ladies, before me! It's none of my business! Just like it's none of their business what I have done with other guys before them!

Omg this is so true ..used for ego .. if I ever get one like that I so know how I'm going to reply xx so different to the way people verify on other sites ..

As you'll notice I do show all of mine because I don't really care about them anymore.

But I guess some people are on here for egos and a bit insecure so the contents of a verify and receiving one means a lot they need the reassurance .I've known people to get very upset and offended when someone hasn't given one back. ..to the point of blocking! . Mny years ago I was bothered too. But once you realise we are all gorgeous stunning lovely and great in the sack their value fades 0) xxx
