anyone ever been to cupids in manchester ? I cant seem to find any reviews on this club - unless being a bith thick. Thanks

Know people that have been they were not impressed I've never been it's doesn't cater for bi men or tvs best thing to do is go and see for yourself

I stand to be corrected here, but I`m sure I read elsewhere on here that the club asked for reviews to be deleted because of SOME negative reviews. All clubs will have some negative reviews to one extent or another but I`m guessing that there may have been too many for the liking of the Cupids owners/management.

Perhaps to poster above could elaborate on the club`s facities and other stuff that they like!

Spot on they had the reviews removed and asked Fab not to post them anymore

We've always found Cupids OK - usually very friendly and never had any problems - mind we have nothing else to compare it with so don't have the insight some would have into other clubs. It's the only one we've been to and attend every few months or so and have usually had a nice time...

I believe Cupids is under new management, but the staff are still very friendly and never had any problems there.

Was there on Thursday and looks like they have started to re-decorate ... nice place, go try it

Have been going to Cupids fairly regularly (at least once a week and sometimes 2 - 3 times) for about 6 months, so obviously I like it there. I have always found the staff to be friendly and there's a nice atmosphere. I do know that on previous threads some people have said it's dirty.....I have never found this to be true.

The facilities include:

lounge with a pool table at one end

you can buy soft drinks, tea, coffee, nuts etc, but you have to take your own alcohol which is labelled and kept behind the bar.

small 4-person jacuzzi, sauna, showers

Couples only play room

curtained couples play area where singles are allowed by invitation.

orgy bed

5 or 6 small rooms, most are lockable and one has a viewing window

dungeon with a swing and glory holes

small smoking room

chsnging room with cubby holes for your clothings. A small box is provided on entrance for your valuables which is then numbered kept behind the bar and you are given the corresponding numbered tag. Anything purchased in the club is marked on a tally sheet and you settle up at the end of your visit.

Like most clubs there is no way of predicting how busy/quiet it will be. There are usually a couple of parties a month with a DJ,games and buffet and these can sometimes be very busy nights.....especially the saturday evening ones.

I've been to four of the clubs around the Greater Manchester area (Adam and Eves, Partners and Heaven on Earth) and Cupids is the club I prefer (although I have to say I do love the wet area at Partners

)...but at the end of the day it comes down to personal preferences, like meets...what suits one person/couple is not neccessarily to someone elses taste and the only way to find out whether or not you'll like it, is to try it and see.

Although the last time we were there they also had cheesy cheddars and scampi fries for sale - not great for that fresh breath feeling

We have been 3 or 4 times and enjoyed it very much.. our only complaint was the Music was too loud so you struggled to hold a conversation!

Friends went at the weekend and said the new dungeon was open.. so sounds like they are getting on with therefurbs.

We used to go quite often but it just got dirtier and dirtier - last time we went I gagged at the smell in the changing rooms, peoples drinks mysteriously disappear, etc etc having said that it's under new management so will wait and see, and yes, they did ask for the club to be taken out of the review section due to the massive amount of negative reviews! Z

like people have said its now under new management and is also being done up we have always found it very friendly and clean with nice people that visit.

On saturday when we went we said we were going to stay in tonight and watch match of the day so the owner put it on at 10.30,no sound and there was great porn films on the other channels

I have been going on and off for a couple of years now, when I tell ppl I have been it gets mixed reactions. I have always found it to be a great place, clean and really friendly. I have heard on a number of occasions that ppl seem to think there is a clique within the regulars at the club, but everyone I have spoken to is sound and very easy to talk too.

I would say give it a go, and if u don't like it try somewhere else. Swingers clubs are very much like nightclubs or even pubs, ppl like different things, you can please some of the ppl some of the time.

oh what a pity!!! they fronted the club and made us feel very welcome whenever we went!! although there was a lovely young lady behind the bar last time we went...!!! might have been Rebecca?? Think she mentioned having worked at some other club. Fantastic legs!!!!

We usually find it's the guys who are there early and couples start arriving later - say around 9/9.30. And start the fun whenever you like!!!

BUT - only our opinion and observations! Don't take it as gospel!!!

It doesn't open until 8:30 (til 03:30).

Also, this Sat night is a Valentine's Party, so will be a bit busier than usual. There may also be entertainment of some sort, but there's no info posted on the web site. Hope you enjoy yourselves, and we may see you there.

utter /???? it was one couple that had a prob with the club, we was at the club the night in question and the old club owner didnt need or want to let it carry on in the forum so they took the add off it stopped and we are now pleased that its back on and no bad reviews only good ones xx

Have been to cupids once last year and wasnt overly impressed. Didnt want to take my shoes off!

Having said that was extremely friendly and would love to go and see it if its been revamped - theres only so much red velvet and gilt a girl can take!!

I think the term "towel club" was used to differentiate it from clubs in which members continue to wear outdoor clothing within the club. In those terms, Cupids is definitely a "towel club", as you MUST change when you enter. As you say lingerie, shorts or towels are equally acceptable.

Hiya i'm col the new manager at cupid's i'm gettin the club to how it should be and would like to say it's lookin great . i have only been there since november and changed it all round . i have read bad report's my self but would just like to ask please read all present reviews since i took over .
