So i'm here again after getting help from the community with sprucing my profile up. My views have shot up but I still can't find anyone to even chat with. My usual introductory line in a message always gets either ignored or deleted and a few times has even resulted in me being told to sod off. I'm honestly not sure what's wrong with asking how someone is, if they'd fancy a chat and getting to know eachother some time, etc. Any help people? Ta.

Mmm hadn't considered opening with a witty one-liner.

our preference is something original. some that shows you have read whole profile or seen something in a pictures background.

Also get to a club, party, social night to talk with others or come into the SE chat room and work on getting verifications.

I always read peoples profiles before I message them but I could tailor the message to it a bit more. The only club anywhere near me i'm not allowed in due to my age and I wasn't aware you could get verified over a chat room?

webcam verification. be polite be witty use your cam and ask to be varified after a couple of weeks of that, you might even get yourself a meeting verification.

I like the honesty of your profile....

and sometimes that always doesn't attract loads of people, but it will attract the right ones for you.

Ive been here a year or so now and my profile changes as I learn about myself and it's amazing how the number/quality of messages/people who I am attracted to, changes.

So id say, don't be disheartened. And like other replies said, a veri always helps.

If I didn't have my first few sentences in my profile....swamped! That's not being arrogant. That's being a single lady on a site where some guys would jump on the next warm thing if it meant they got their end away. And not all are as obvious, crude and down right disrespectful as that. It just takes a strong filter to not attract that....so I get those who I am most attracted to, message me...And perhaps you may find this too. Quality over quantity??

The point being, those that are attracted to your profile, and perhaps some nice, open honest dialogue about what attracted you to their profile, in your message, may not hurt?!!

Outside all of my drivel, the point is, be patient and yourself!

Happy Fabbing.

We think the idea of chatting on line is always a good starting point and as someone else said, try a regional one. The general ones move very quickly and it can be difficult to keep up.

Enter a room and see how the chat works, then when you feel comfortable join in.

socials are good as well, you get to meet and talk to lots of like minded people.

This will sound silly but if you stop looking to meet someone, you might find it easier. Pressure off and just chatting and flirting can and does go along way.

You will be fine and try not to put too much pressure on yourself.
