A vicious circle.....

I have been on this site for about a year, in which time I have had one amazing meet, who subsequently left a very nice verification on my profile.

Unfortunately, since then, I have not had any subsequent meets and therefore no further veri's.

I totally appreciate that people only want to meet verified people (esp single men), but could anyone help shed some light on how I can get more verifications please?

People you meet at clubs may potentially verify you.

Event organisers may also verify you if on guest lists etc.

No but you will have a lot more opportunity to meet people who may verify you, or more importantly have the opportunity to meet people and I think it's one of the reasons why people join this site
