Be honest. It is a verification that the other user is genuine, that they exist and they are who and what they say they are.

If you cannot honestly verify the above points, don't leave a verification.

"Be honest. It is a verification that the other user is genuine, that they exist and they are who and what they say they are.

This: that's all it's for:

"1.Yes this person exists: I have met him/ her/ them and;

2. They are the sex they said they are on the profile ( or the couple they said they were)

3. Bonus information; They bear at least a passing resemblance to the description/( or photos if there are any)"

That's all that is required. Anything else is just uneccesary bullshit.

If they looked like their photos (face) I think is a good one to state. Nothing worse than not recognising them coz they've used a pic from years ago!

I like it when a veri contains a typo that has been missed by both the writer and the recipient. Saw one the other day that said something like 'I wouldn't jump at the chance to meet them again'

Nothing worse than reading about how a person (male or female) managed to suck you dry.. or has such a wet pussy etc.

It spoils everything, try saying nice things about them.

In your opinion ....

Verifications are not just a validation as you describe for some of us .

They can be a reminder of a wonderful meet .

And indeed , anything a verifier wants to write about their experience .

To suggest they are unnecessary bullshit is a somewhat bullish attitude , and an arrogant , unnecessary take on what some of us like .

There is no possibility of converting a pure subjective experience into an objective fact to be passed on to other people! (who by definition are all different)-- philosophical tautology springs to mind perhaps?

and is correctly described as bullshit, i agree.

In my opinion it pure ego-boosting vanity consistent with the lowest form of hollywood celebrity shit of the anglo-american mass monoculture variety -- sadly so often prevelant on here!

The phrase "pretentious pseudo-intellectual attention-seeking twaddle" springs to mind...

What the hell does "the Anglo-american mass monoculture" even mean? ....Nothing!

If you ever wrote a verification it'd never get displayed if it contained such horseshit...

One of the main things I find with veris is that it allows you to build a better picture of the person, especially when used in conjunction with their profile abd any forum posts.

Yes a veri is subjective, but if you have several saying similar complimentary things (assuming the writer is telling the truth) then it may help you to make a more informed decision as to wether to meet that person. For example if a lady had several veris saying she had left bite or scratch marks I would avoid that person as its a hard limit for me...

You make a very fair point.

Verifications can corroborate views and opinions about an individual made in other veris and build up a clearer picture of the person, and quite without the need to include graphic or salacious description.

When we were here previously ......and much more active with play friends, we would always come home and write our veri to them straight away. That way the smiles were still on our faces. The memories were still clear. And our words of a great time meant every word.

But I must admit, the other day I came across a recent veri and it was soooo detailed. And I mean detailed. Nothing left to the imagination. I did feel it was a little much.

Another profile we have seen tends to copy and paste every veri they leave everyone they meet. Not personal at all.

But everyone has their own style.

There is no right or wrong. Providing you have actually met and not just doing a veri for the sake of it.

Mrs xx
