Congrats to that and actually listening to advice, instead of starting off with a profile that's just "fill in later" or "looking for fun", asking for advice and ignoring it all/getting stroppy

You are a mere beginner! It takes a lot of time, patience, perseverance and even more patience. You are up against 100's of other guys out there. You have to "SELL" yourself; You have to make yourself stand out against the rest. That means putting together a profile that catches people's attention. But you also have to put yourself out too; get to Socials and Clubs in your area. Get into the Forum pages. It all comes down to being noticed (for all the good reasons). You also state you cannot accommodate; that throws up doubts in some people's minds, so state why you can't. In short, you get out of it by what you put in, effort wise.
