How have I got a message from a non- friend?

I've set my profile to hidden and taken myself off the search list, so how come someone that has never messaged me before has sent me a message today? Where did he find me? Thanks

Clicked on your profile name then clicked the message icon? Have you posted elsewhere in the forum?

You can still receive messages with a hidden profile unless you've got your filters set up. I'd check them first.

do status updates from hidden profiles show on the updates feed ??

wouldnt show up on a search so must be here on hotlist im guessing

Thanks guys. I worked out I can still send a message to myself and add myself to my hotlist even when I'm hidden. Suddenly not feeling hidden!!!

When you're hidden ..If you're not wanting messages apply the filters., stops any new communications

if youre hidden yourpics and profile cannot be seen by anybody
