somewhere over the rainbow

We are meeting a couple tomorrow at a club. If we don't like them how best to excuse ourselves and decline?

I would suggest being honest but polite. Simply say that there's no "spark" or chemistry and that you don't feel like playing.

The first rule of swinging is no means no....apply it if required.

never feel pressured to play - just say sorry we wont be playing and this is easier at a club we think

Normally the 'code' for not interested in a club is - we are just gonna have a wander around, enjoy your evening and we might see you about later.

Translation- No thank you.

Start scratching your genitals and say you think the rash has come back.

Hopefully, that will put them off.

But it will probably put everyone else off too

I'd keep it on a friendly, warm basis, if you get along. Meeting others doesn't have to solely be about taking it to a sexual level. They may become great friends and be as happy with that than sex.

At some point it's important to let them know that you don't want any sexual contact: either side could initiate this. Wait for the right time and preferably not at the last moment of the night.

Whatever happens, good luck!

A freind of mine recommends a swift knee in the bollocks.

Mind you I think she is referring to different circumstances

I would meet in the bar area of club and just say to them 'let's be honest with each other if we don't think there is a spark'. Then you can have a drink, chat & either move on with or without them & vice versa.

How would you like to be turned down by them? Just use whatever others say when they politely decline

For any who have met me, they will know that I always have a social on the first meet.

If nothing happens, there's no shock as it was a social anyway.
