Go with no expectations other than to make new friends and anything else is a bonus. Be friendly and approachable, don't stand in the corner wanking and staring lol. No touching without asking, and no means no no matter who is doing the touching or saying. If you have any problems or feel uncomfortable have a word with a member of staff. Have a great time!

We tend to find that the smoking area and the jacuzzis are the best places for striking up conversation. If you want to play with a couple maybe have a chat with the male half first. When we go to a club Mr E is usually in charge of asking single guys to play with us.

Check the website of the club make sure it's a night you can go on not couples only or members only etc. Take provisions with you depending on the club (drinks, fee, condoms etc), check with the club for ID or membership requirements and the clubs etiquette with regards to dress then make sure you know your way to the club and parking situation, opening hours etc.

I've never been to a club and kinda clueless about it all. I don't know where to begin. How do I find local too me and how do I find people to go with

Tbh sounds like a clubs not for you mate, if your struggling just to get through the door you must be quite shy?

I'd say maybe attend a couple of local socials first or a few meets privately.

I think you maybe right about the OP. To get any private meets he will probably have to drastically improve his profile.

Check out the website for La Chambre in Sheffield, which is only about 30 miles from you. The website is full of great tips, and has a whole page of advice for single guys. From memory, single guys are admitted on Fridays and Sundays. Sundays is quieter, there is music playing but no DJ, so it's easier to hold a conversation.

Don't go alone if you don't want to...you can always find someone on the site willing to go with you and take you in as a guest (you'll still have to pay the entrance fee) if you try hard enough.

I'm probably the wrong person to take advice from, however. I've been to clubs (Chameleons once and a club in/near West Bromwich - the name escapes me) and I didn't particularly enjoy either experience. Not that I'm saying there was anything wrong with the clubs; I just have a very anti-social personality and therefore found the whole experience uncomfortable.

You might enjoy it - you'll never know unless you actually go to one, though.

I went to No3 recently as a little dry run so to speak.

I did my due diligence, read up about the club, emailed the owners/people who run the place and just said its my firth time.

Be friendly, non pushy, polite and you'll be fine. Basically think of it as going to a normal bar...only expection...you might get asked to play.

Go with no expectations and you'll be fine. Also make an effort....it helps.

You'll find people will come to you

I've never been to a club but would love to go with someone if anyone is offering. I think the closest club to me is The Private club in Birmingham but if anyone knows of any others in and around Coventry/Warwickshire please get in touch

I bet you weren't chaperoned for the first time to a pub or a nite-club. Why is going into a club harder for you? Many single women go to clubs by themselves for the first time

You have lots of clubs to choose from

Chameleons

Xtasia

New paradise club

Liberty elites

Midswingers

City celts

The attic

I personally find paradise overall is cheapest for single men (weeknights just a tenner) and because it's a small club people tend to chat more.

The attic is cheap also though little further away from Coventry.

Liberty elites, not the cheapest but probably your closest

Celts, £16 entry, swinger Saturday seems best day to go

Midswingers, not sure male entry price but only tends to open twice a month

Xtasia, reasonable price for all genders, night club feel

Chameleons, dear membership but good club

Go on your own too, why men constantly look for others to take them baffles me, by going with someone else you would limit your availability to women at clubs, lots of women like me only go to club to find single men, if a man rocks up with a woman I would rule him out as a play meet as I don't meet couples at all, not even the ones that can play solo
