Yes there are, some prefer to trim closely especially if they're very hairy elsewhere and some prefer to leave it as nature intended.

I don't like the plucked chicken/ prepubescent look personally. Males trimmed but not bald, ladies a bit of fluff for us. But each to their own, I wouldn't criticise what others find attractive or what makes someone feel good about them self.

I think it's up to the individual what they do with regards to hair.
