VERY gentle wash by hand, for the fake pvc, and use baby shampoo or conditioner. it can be put in washing machine on delecat wash but I prefer to do by hand. Try to dry flat.

For the genuine, heavy duty, pvc clothing (the type with the backing rather than just wet look), wipe down with cloth wetted with warm water and shampoo, but do not soak the item too much, and do this after ever wear, preferably as soon as you remove it.

A wipe with a damp clean cloth with just water or with a teeny drop of a very gentle soap or shampoo.

Spit and polish! Seriously though - wipe over with warm soapy water, wipe dry (ish) and hang over something to let it dry completely.

After a very gentle wash, you can get the shine back with something like "Cocoon Latex Polish" (works well for PVC as well as latex). Used to be able to get it from a lovely little shop in Birmingham, but it's only online now, so you'll need to Google.

there

What the wiganers said is spot on.

just remember to turn it inside out to dry, otherwise the air won't get to the lining.

If the item has any shaped bits (puffed sleeves or cups) you may need to dry up the excess water that will trap in those parts using a towel.

I class the wet look material as fake PVC, it looks like it but does not have the separate lining on the back and it not that durable.
