Not really being let down, is it? If you don't hear back, they are clearly not interested in meeting you. We have no way of advising you, I am afraid, as we have no details.

Oh I thought you meant they didn't turn up to an arranged meet.

Not hearing back is hardly being let down, but it's just a normal reaction if you push too fast for a meet.
