we have spent most of our short time on fab waiting for people to come to us and to be frank we havent had huge success . we are thinking of changing it up and going all proactive and seeking out like minded people out ourselves . what we are asking is what have people found to be the best way to get what they wanted from fab the sit back or go get em approach ? there is always the fear of rejection which is whats holding us back . anyway thanks in advance for and advice or tales you may provide happy fabbing pip and von

yep - if you like what you see you might as well mail as they will never know you're interested otherwise.

I got fed up of mailing over a year ago and haven't really bothered or come on anyones radar since. The best thing is about swinging though is a very longstanding fb

I only chatted with guys who messaged and then a friend told me to be proactive.

It still feels wrong but I've had some great success

I can only speak as a single male and not a couple so appreciate that this is a different situation. I feel however that going proactive has to be the way forward for you on this site. As has already been said people won't know your interested until you contact them (especially if you profile view in stealth mode). Also you gain more control over the type of person that you could meet because you are going out and seeking them as opposed to sitting back and hoping that they find you. Yes rejection can be hard to handle at first but the trick is to not to invest to much emotion in the initial messages. Accept that different people find different things attractive and if they don't get back to you... well they don't know what they have been missing.

With regards to clubs yes it can be nerve wracking. There are many different clubs out there and to an extent each has its own personality. Some can seem stuck up and harsh, others can be friendly. In some ways the ladies may have a slightly easier time as you can select lingerie that compliments your body and hides / exposes the amount you feel comfortable with. Us gents are frequently left with a pair of shorts or a towel that doesn't do much for us. Pick a friendly club, let them know that it is your first time and they will treat you right. I always try to give a new couple a compliment especially if they are looking a bit shell shocked as that little boost can make a massive difference to confidence levels. For the record looking at your pics, I'm bigger than either of you and have not had any problems or hassle at clubs. Hope this helps, just my two pennies worth. Wish you lived closer.

Most people in clubs come in different shapes and sizes, however if you feel you are concerned by your shape try a BBW or curvy girl night. If you are concerned about feeling intimidated about going to a club see advice above.

I wasn't at first. Theres people of all sizes, ages, appendages, boobs. You'll never know unless you try. Theres always private rooms, if you're shy. Our only regret now, is not being able to get out more.

The other bonus is you don't get your time wasted, and you can see if there's a genuine interest.

We treat Fab as an equivalent of gold panning. You have to shift a bunch of material to find the nuggets, but they do exist and we have had some very lucky finds.

If you are not body confident then there are two approaches, one is the go for a BBW theme at a club or lose some of the weight and boost your self esteem at the same time. A real win win.

Everyone has likes and dislikes. If they say "no thanks" it's not the end of the world.

If they reject me in an abusive or unkind way it doesn't bother me. I don't want to meet people like that anyway.
