Can someone please tell me why people block you they send you a friends request you except so send them a polite message then block with out a reply or a no thanks does my head in very rude or is that just me?

Probably to see if you have friends only pics and if they are attracted. If they change their mind and/or are not attracted then they block to save both time.

If they do know you then don't worry. The fact that they've blocked you would mean they're discreet. and seeing as they're on here they won't judge you either but probably wanna remain anonymous.

If they even know you that is.

I have sent accidental friend requests, there is no 'are you sure' button on friend requests on the desktop site. So I block their profile because I don't want them as friends.

This^^^ , is the best bit of advice going & that should be adopted by all in your position. Let it be & move on - there's absolutely nothing you can do so why let it eat away at you?....

That's why many people won't accept a friend request without getting to know the person first.

I've started to block people friend requesting without talking first.

I heard that it's a glitch in the site. If they were on your friends list before, and then you block them, it goes back to a "pending" request because only half of "being friends" has been fulfilled.
