It's low risk but still possible. It's not something I have worried about in the past but I am more cautious now, my health is everything!

If we worried about std overly we wouldn't do this at all.. we just keep ourselves checked and assess each meet on its own merits.

However we both enjoy giving oral and do it a lot.. and as yet we haven't caught anything... But we don't think we are invincible..

Get the throat swabs every six weeks , and have done for almost 5 years .

Probably sucked more cock and licked more pussy and ass than I've had hot dinners , and not one std .

Of course I'm not invincible , but there are risks with most things we all enjoy . I'll take that risk as I do enjoy it . And I certainly don't spend my life worrying about it either .

Sorry but there is absolutely no clinical research that is reliable to back this up!...yet.

Mouth cancer is still mainly caused by a combination of smoking and drinking.

And no one can contract receding gums!

I don't think I would be on a swingers site if I worried about oral & std's.worry,anxiety,guilt etc contribute to low self worth,which in turn can make the possibility of std's more likely as it can affect the immune system.

I have considered unprotected oral as a form of safer sex,for some years now.

Nice to see so many dentists in here...

I have diabetes, my immune system can be low. The bacteria transmitted during kissing that a normal person should be able to fight off doesn't always happen for me, i just had to up my dental habits with special mouth wash and it's sorted now.

It's not something I "worry" about but I do take the risk seriously and when we are active on the scene we get tested 3 monthly as we refuse to use condoms and dental dams for oral sex. We do however practice safe sex for penetration.

I was a little worried one point last year when I got recurrent tonsillitis but I was assured at the clinic it was highly unlikely from oral sex and my swabs came back clear from STIs

To be fair, there's probably a lot more and dangerous types of bacteria in a human mouth than on a cock. Dunno about stinky old vajayjays though !!
