Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

If you're going to lie about your age on here, it's probably best I you don't include your true year o birth in your screen name.

I saw a profile that made me feel really good about my age...until I realised.

Now I feel decrepit!

I understand if people don't want another site to have their real DOB...got to be safe and all. My birthday is correct to within a week. Year and month all dandy. It's a bit silly really...saw one which admitted it was 15 years wrong yesterday.

I've actually overstated my age on here by doing the old 1st Jan birthday trick when I signed up, but the year is correct. So I'm old before my time

Because it get's you round filters and includes you in searches you wouldn;t otherwise appear in. It effectovely means you can ignore people's preferences.

It's a bit pathetic if you ask me and something I assume admin frown upon as it;s the only field you can;t edit on your profile

You can edit it once but that's it. Was helpful for me as I had entered mine in wrong (it was an honest mistake) - it's correct now!

Many people assume that once you're 50 you're over the hill! I have put my true age in the main text so anybody that reads profiles can then decide for themselves if they want to meet me!

I've put in my right age but it's amazing how many women have set their limit to 45. The hazards of being 46 ha.

I understand why but I'm slightly over by a few months and like to think I look and feel a few years younger. Might miss out on a few opportunities but hey ho.

Confirmed, that it wasn't you. Obviously no names, but he used all four digits of the birthyear, so it was pretty clear.
