Hotel meets

Anyone have suggestions about hotel meets? Does reception get nosey? Esp if i book out without spending the night? How about visitors to my room?

Go to a premier in.

I had a meet at one on fri, they did once knock to ask us all to keep the noise down a bit but the chap was very nice about it, and I later walked a six three in heels t girl out through reception on my belt as a leash (i was taking her to tesco)...they didn't seem to mind really.

I find staff in big chain hotels normally couldn't give less of a shit and are pretty much disinterested

Hotel meets are sexy. Just make sure you don't leave anything behind. I left a flogger in a room once which they claimed not to have found.

"What was it you left in the room?"

"Errrrm a kind of leathery thing with tassels on. Dammit woman it was my favourite flogger!!!"

Only thing I'd say is city centre hotels on Friday and Saturday nights are sometimes quite hot on making sure it's only the right number of people booked to be in the room - because of stag and hen parties generally. So if there's going to be more than 2 of you make sure it's a room for 3 or 4 you've booked.

Never experienced anything myself direct from the reception staff. Mostly its the nerves of everyone but the staff.

I'm sure they can spot whatever's going on a mile off simply from the nature of their job. I grin inside when I walk past reception with a cpl knowing reception know they aint booked in with me or booked in the hotel at all. Then a time after naughty noises start (masqued by tv/music volume) and hours later or the morning after the cpl walk back past reception looking rather shagged out

All good harmless adult fun

We had a note shoved under the door, complaining about our ridiculous sex noises.......We sneaked out like naughty school kids aaaahhhhh good times.

Never had a problem in the premier Inn near chams in darleston. .staff are amazingly helpful and friendly and couldn't care less so long as you're respectful to other hotel users. .e.g keeping the noise down etc

For day meets look up 9-5 rooms for busy executives!!! Book with an email, no card details and pay cash on arrival. Or so I'm told ...

I'm a night duty mgr and we generally let things pass unless we get complaints. I have knocked on doors to ask people to be quiet, that's when we generally ask people to leave if there's more than 2 people in a room.

More to do with fire regs more than anything else.

I walked in after a long day in dirty clothes and used a Fab friends room to shower and change. I then ran around clutching heels in hand to round up a car load of fabsters and walked out in my playsuit grinning at reception on the arm of a different man.

In my experience travelodge are a fairly good option as you don't need to check out and just leave your key card in the room, I've never had anyone knock on the door before, we must have been too quiet or nobody was that bothered about it

Generally it's not the sex noise it's the fact people turn the telly up to try and disguise the noise which most people complain about.

I normally just have one of the music chanbels/radio channels on quietly but yeah I can see why sometimes people come to the door with the telephone on

I used to work in hotels, all sorts goes on.

It's likely they've seen/heard it before so don't worry about it.

Having said that, don't try the 'Mr & Mrs Smith' thing in any hotel near a potential terrorist target. With recent events they will be checking these couples out.

Booking in Hotels and paying cash is not on at some places. In order to avoid robberies they insist you pay by card. I think Travel Lodges are party to this way of payment.

We used Premier Inns or Travelodge, both very good and we've never had any bother with the staff at either.

I once stayed in a B&B in Blackpool that had a notice behind reception stating that the management were not responsible for any children conceived on the premises!

I only ever had a problem at all very posh hotel with a very attractive FB who I had been seeing for 4 years, got followed to the room by a manager who accused her of being a hooker.

Never had problem with hotels...

Renaissance in st Pancras I managed to fill out with 7 girls, and didnt even need to book it as extra.

Hotel stuff doesn't really go spying on you... they got the own hands full with doing work behind the desk.

One of the reception girls in canary wharf hotel ended up joining my room with other 3 girls including my wife.

They human beings too you know ?

Coleford, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.

I had a hotel meet after work in Gloucester a couple of years ago. It was a large modern hotel and it was difficult to find my way around as the reception area was very busy and there were many people sat around.

I felt pretty self conscious as I felt that people were watching my every move !

I eventually found the room and had an hour of absolute sexual bliss but I bet it showed when I left the hotel.

It was a bit off putting but very much worth it

The two big issues are how many people are on their premises as when the fire alarm goes and it is for real the attending sub officer is going to ask how many people are involved and are any missing as in does he need to send his crew on a rescue or not.

The CC details are not so much for payment though they are often used for it of course but for a, damage, and b, no shows.

We are in the business.

Ibis hotels are good. Cheap clean. Only problem is you have to come to reception as its a security issue having open circulation spaces. 9 to 5.com good as well no hassel from staff there
