Got a new smartphone - Galaxy S - and for some reason I cant seem to log on to site on this one. Keeps saying enter username and password. Does anyone have similar issues and how did they get solved if they did

thanks

The Galaxy S uses Android, yeah? If so, I'm able to sign-in using my Desire, which also uses Android.

Which browser are you using, as there are several? I find the in-built one works best for me, whereas Opera doesn't work very well for many sites including, iirc, this one.

Android is by far the best mobile OS to use on this site - it even works in the chatrooms (suck it apple!)

its probably something really obvious like you have put in your username and password wrong or you still have the parental controls active (you'll need to contact your network operator to remove them)

Dont think it will be the parental controls on the network as they will stop even the first page from loading.

Id check and double check the username and password.

S.

I'm fine with my HTC Desire, but I had to contact vodaphone to get the parental restrictions off first.

On your computer do you have username and password saved so you automaticaly log in when you click on fab? You will need to enter username and password on phone and tick remember me box to save it.

I have galasxy s and just click on to boxes enter my user name and password click on login in and get in no problem. But have to do so everytime use phone for fab, won't leave it logged in because of kids!

Not sure if that could be the problem, but worth a try!

I know nout about phones except that I also have a samsung galaxy S and can log onto fab fine and my username and password is remembered as find it faster.

I am sure it is much safer to not have the username and password saved for security but to be honest am not too worried about it.

Maybe I should and can think of lots of reasons I should but am happy as it is

Hi, I log in fine with a galaxy s (excellent choice of phone). I use dolphin hd as my browser. The only thing I can think of is a network block. With vodafone i'd to get them to turn off the adult filer. have you tried connecting thru wireless?

We use blackberry and that is fine too! Trouble is though that people will think that you have logged in and ignored their message or not replied to it when you have just read it on the go. Plus it stays logged in while ur phone is on (always) so unless you remember to log out people think that you have no life :P

As others have said, i have a Galaxy S and have no issues logging into FAB

It could be a netwroks restriction, or could be the browser you are using, or possibly which version of Andoid you are on,
