The Kindle reference might have been tongue in cheek but even as a straight guy joining a couple the idea for me is that all three should be as involved as the flow takes them.

I was going to suggest trying a few role-plays/scenarios out; bailiff/debt collector one is cool, 'catching' your wife with a stranger is another favourite, lots of things to try and enjoy, find what works for you and try variations on that.
