Delete Verification

Hello, is it possible to delete a received verification? I know I can choose not to show it on the profile but I don't want to see it at all, not even in the section where you can manage verifications? Thank you in advance. x

Brighton - even Hove!

No, sorry. The verification system is designed to give an indication to people that the person you met was real, turned up, looked like their profile photos etc....

Why wouldn't you want it now?

Only way is to block the person that gave you it, it's not however a permanent solution because if you unblock them it returns

To add to the above, at least if you block you don't have to see the veri. It just adds to your numbers only.

Trouble is if you hide veris we all look at the number of meets and then take away the number shown to see how many bad ones you have. This is slightly confused by the ones from members that leave being deleted but the number remaining in the totals. While you should be able to hide the details a simple, ebay style buyers feedback showing number of satisfied and dissatisfied meets serves a purpose. Otherwise serial time wasters can keep messing everyone around.

You're kidding right?

There are many different reasons to hide veris! Ranging from some being just socials, others being overly descriptive, or giving your name.

I wouldn't assume just cos a veri is hidden, it's because it's shit!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"Trouble is if you hide veris we all look at the number of meets and then take away the number shown to see how many bad ones you have. This is slightly confused by the ones from members that leave being deleted but the number remaining in the totals. "

So you're saying that your system is flawed?

I think assuming that any not shown are bad is inaccurate on a gargantuan level, but you are of course free to do as you please.

It's absolutely not the case that the ones no longer shown on profiles are bad - not in our case anyway. One is from a woman who left fab, one is from a couple who we didn't know the name of on here but who left us a veri after trying to force his dick in me from behind totally uninvited and bareback and then had the cheek to find us on here and to leave us a verification! So they're blocked...I'd never assume they were bad just because they're hidden. They're hidden for a reason!

We've always assumed that non-visible veris were due to people leaving the site.

Pretty certain 99% of people here would assume the same thing.

In that case I'm in the 1% who thinks who I've met is no-one else's business. I have several that I choose not to show. They're all lovely. I like discretion and if I'm in a minority of 1% then I'm quite surprised.

I don't use the verification system. I follow my instincts so it really makes no odds to me either way. I use the site in the way it works for me best.

I choose to show my summery not my verifications simply because it's no ones business who I've met. 99% of them are still active on the site and my friends list. Only a couple have left.

And what about those who have left me veris and have since left the site?

After more than 4 years on here people have left and their veri has disappeared along with them, so I'm unable to display them.

Have I received any bad veris I am too ashamed to show, chosen to hide some or have the senders left?

Sorry, thought I had written that too! Yes of course, I mean 99% would assume both of those, rather than someone had left them a bad verification that they were refusing to show.

I assume that if people have had a bad experience then they just wouldn't verify? The ones I have hidden are just webcam ones from when I've been in chat as I think they are a bit pointless, confirming that I'm real when I have loads of meet verifications to prove that anyway. I want to delete because it's a meet between my husband and a woman that I find upsetting to be reminded of. So if I block her it will disappear from our "manage verifications" section?

I have to disagree. I hide some of mine. For example, I only display the most recent veri from someone who's met me more than once. I also have a few cam veris I didn't ask for from back when I first joined the site and ventured into the cam rooms to see what they were all about. I'm not into camming so don't display those since it gives the wrong impression of what I want from the site. Plus I have a few I physically can't display since the user has left the site. None of that makes me a timewaster or less than genuine, and all of my veris have been lovely (or in one case brilliantly, disparagingly funny and yes, I did display it before the user left the site). Maybe because veris aren't the sole factor in my deciding to meet others I assume the same holds true of mine. Or that people I would want to meet feel the same.

Why do you find the meet upsetting though?

By this method you would assume we have met over 122 times (most of them many times) and are the king and queen of time wasters - or you could use your brains and think that it's no ones business who we meet

Yes, hidden because we do not want everyone knowing who we have met! We've never given it received a bad verification, we have still verified guys from poor meets because they are real and did turn up but it's what is not said rather than what is said in those circumstances.

Ultimately we prefer to keep our business to ourselves but like people to know that we are real and do meet, hence verification summary.

Yeah, we assume the same mainly. All our verifications are shown, number on summary doesn't match up due to people leaving the site.

He gets a sexual kick out of me seeing other men, I don't get anything out of him seeing women, in fact I find it upsetting. it may seem selfish but he isn't really bothered about seeing anyone other than me and he loves having MMFs with me as well.

We hide our veris because we value discretion. Little point telling others we are discreet then broadcasting our veris.

We have a summary to let others know we actually meet.

All our verifications are lovely. We don't display them all as some are from the same people, or they may be for me rather than him or both of us and we like to keep a balance. I've yet to hear of anyone receiving a crap verification, if we had a meet that was rubbish we just wouldn't give a veri in the first place!

It wouldn't even enter my head that the reason veris arent shown is that they aren't good. We don't display all of ours for varying reasons, and none of ours are rubbish lol.
