So I've been with my partner for over 20 years, she is long term ill, 59 years old and can hardly ever have sex anymore. What should I do?

Man up and do the right thing. Sex is not the be all and end all and how many forums do you need to post this on?

CarersUk can help with support if you need that? Good luck, it can be hard looking after someone who's ill.

carry on fucking anything with a pulse like you have been doing.

why would you even bother asking, anyone whos read your profile can see you for what you are, and that isn't a loving husband that's for sure.

its one thing needing sex if its missing from your life, with your wifes permission but the rest of it, im not surprised she doesn't want to have sex with you.

TALK to her. She might understand that the situation is hard for you and give you her blessing to seek fun elsewhere.

Doubt will go well esp if he tells her on here and been meeting .

Yes he has it hard but he should try and see it through partner's eyes ,

Can't see the point of this thread then unless he's looking for acceptance of his situation which is unlikely on here, its a tough crowd

It might be a vain effort for sympathy. Not sure fab forums work like that though

i don't see the point either. hes given a speel about the fun hes having with Italians or Spaniards or some such person, then how he parties all weekend then sleeps the rest. what is he ACTUALLY asking about?

What should you do about what?

If Marc were sick I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself sexually with someone else. Knowing he was ill and I chose to screw someone instead of be with him would be too much for me. Sex simply isn't that important to me.

If it were reversed, I would give him permission to play with others. Whether or not he would, I can't answer.

As for you, well, it's your life. Have a think and come to your own conclusions - though it seems as if you already have.

Its alright she does want to have sex occasionally. But what do you mean by the rest of it? If you mean my lifestyle well I'm working on it.

They're brilliant, can't fault them.

They offer support just for talking to someone if you need that, meeting other carers so you aren't isolated, where to get financial help, even legal advice.

I do a bit of campaigning with them as well, they campaign against government cuts and for disabled peoples rights and their carers rights too.

What would you think would happen if the situation was the other way round ? Would you be happy with her having sex with a variety of strangers and for her to party all night and sleep all day at the weekends ? Would you be happy to fend for yourself while shes off having fun while you are ill ?

Seems selfish to me ! Life is about more than sex !

Not sure why OP has asked for advice or made this topic.

Yeah he is selfish and selfish often has negative connotations. But we aren't him, we aren't living his life, we don't really have the right to judge him or his life. Why can't people be selfish if it isn't harming anyone else?

OP what is it you want exactly? Maybe if you made it clearer people might be able to help, and don't be ashamed of having needs coz everyone has them.

If you're looking for sex then the meets section probably would've been better.

if you're looking for sympathy then unfortunately you're gonna have to make yurself vulnerable, which will leave you open to attack from others on here but will also make people be able to emapathise or sympathise with you in a better way.

Is this a real question or are you just after a pity fuck?

Either way you're going to get the same answer - you're a dick.

Does your "long term ill" partner know you're meeting anyone and everyone for casual sex?

She deserves better.

She's sick and all you can think about is the fact that she can't have much sex anymore?

Nice... really nice.
