As for people reading profiles, we obviously get plenty who don't bother reading ours but we always read other people's and we also get some complimentary comments from some people about our profile so I think, given the minimal effort in writing one, it's definitely worth having one.
We'd probably tend to avoid anyone who had virtually nothing on their profile. | |||

It won't stop everyone but it stops them persisting. Works for us. Also I often use 'who's looked at you' to block undesirables x Another who has never read their own profile; you don't say you don't meet bi guys. You only talk about race. I see you only meet confident black men but, believe me, that doesn't necessarily mean they're straight!
Mr, if you had bothered to read the message we quoted you would have realised that the message you quoted was in fact two messages and at no point did we day that we didn't meet bi-guys, only that we quoted the above as it was relevant to the topic that had been posted by the OP.
Our profile neither states that we do or do not meet bi guys, only that we are looking to meet confident black guys.
Unlike you I am thoroughly conversant with the content of our profile and what we say we are looking for and feel that whatever peoples preferences then trying to help them prevent themselves from being swamped by muppets is a worthwhile choice!

We identify as what we are and who we are. And we neither suffer fools or feel the need to explain ourselves to a guy who has attempted to hijack a message meant for a lady and now tries to make it about himself.
If you had bothered to read our profile a fraction of how you tried to make out 'someone else who doesn't read their profile' then you would understand exactly what was meant by that comment. And just to add, I frequently check out our profile as sometimes it is very evident it has not been read so we check just to see if it is still clear as to who we are looking for as it would appear that the skill of reading the written word is a skill bereft to many folk on Fab x

As for people reading profiles, we obviously get plenty who don't bother reading ours but we always read other people's and we also get some complimentary comments from some people about our profile so I think, given the minimal effort in writing one, it's definitely worth having one.
