It's your personal choice. Some do, some don't.

I don't have one but do send one if I am likely to meet that person.

I think there are so many perfectly understandable reasons why someone would choose not to have a public face pic, so I often wonder what's the lifestyle and social environment of the people who do have visible pics. I think they must be quite brave and confident to do it.

Agreed.

A little annoying though when you can Pm someone you fancy, because they've blocked users without a face pic.

Still, there loss. LOL!

I do however offer to send one through via PM. Although it doesn't really do me justice, but Esmeralda seemed okay with it.

??? You can't block someone from messaging because they don't have a face pic to share. You can just put it in your profile, but can't enable it to be set in stone

The only filter you can have is that "they can't message you if they don't have any public photos on display".. Doesn't have to be face pics on show, can be any photo.
