The most popular alternative to chatting in the chat room seems to be skype. But are there any alternatives? The cam function doesn't work on android, so what else are people video chatting on?

Skype is much the most used video chat platform. WhatsApp probably next most popular but need to give out your phone number. Be aware no matter what you use the number of guys on there massively outnumber everyone else.

Oh and people have reported that you can get chat to work on android using the puffin browser.
