Wink from a couple

This is my first forum post so don't be to hard on me. Last night I received my first wink from a couple. Nervously excited I replied with a thanks for the wink, hoping this would start a conversation. They read and deleted the message. Dashing my hopes of a first threesome.

My question for couples is if you wink at a single guy how would you expect him to reply.

Who knows and I wouldn't worry about it. Why people wink can be many, it may have been by mistake or because they like your profile but do not wish to take things further. Just send a nice simple message if they reply take it from there otherwise move on.

Winks have a variety of meanings. Some can be a hello, others just a bit of a Wolf whistle.

They may have been interested but the response was disappointing, too long, too short, too late.

If they wanted a spur of the moment rendezvous and sent out 20 or 30 winks then you may have been just not quite quick enough. They made their choice and the rest are swinging fodder.

It's not worth worrying about.

As it only takes a second to send a wink no one should pay too much attention to them.

A true measure of interest is a more detailed message . I consider winks to be meaningless .

We end up winking blocking and friend requesting by accident all the time don't let it worry you.

Could have been an accidental wink, I have done this more than once.

One half of the couple sent the wink, the other read the message and wasn't interested.

If we wink at somebody it usually means we like your profile/pics...and if they reply to that wink then we will strike up a conversation .... but we tend to message more than wink

Had this myself, with a couple who have winked and messaged me a few times and each time I replied they deleted the message or left it unread.

A wink doesn't mean a meet or a need for a reply, it probably just mean a good profile or something like that.
