Hi ladies and gentlemen

As always need some tips and advice on our first social meet.

How should we meet, is drinking would help to settle the nerves?

Because we meet single guy shall we sit together as a couple and other guy opposite us to chat?

Any more tips please would be great for us.

Do as you would when meeting a friend

Maybe one glass of wine if needed but I have found best to just be yourself

Remember there are two of you and one of him he be more nervous

He is meeting you both so you both be there as you would usually meeting a Mate

I'd agree with the 'be yourselves' part and by all means have a glass of wine but I find not drinking too much is a good thing. I like having my wits about me, especially on a first meeting.

Nervous excitement is good! But try and relax. He'll be nervous too. Enjoy!

Go easy on the alcohol, quickly pissed doesn't give a good impression (except to pissheads).

When we meet a guy for the first time, I (fem) usually sit beside him with my partner opposite, so he doesn't feel he's having a job interview.

Be yourself, fake is never impressive, remember he will be nervous too - and he has nobody riding shotgun!

Let the wife speak to him 1:1 whilst hubby goes to get the drink. She nedds to decide first. Couples usually sit opposite as they may decide not to go ahead.

Try and be light and relaxed. It is quite a stressful situation for a guy joining a couple if they are not chilled. He is being interviewed. If he gets in he can have lovely sex if not he is rejected and will feel low.

Once you have decided to fuck tell him and then talk about what you like and don't like. Ask him what he likes etc. Smile, laugh, it's meant to be fun!!

Definitely be yourselves. And definitely don't drink too much. I usually suggest meeting for a coffee anyway, it doesn't have to be alcoholic.

As for where to sit? That's entirely down to yourselves. The vast majority of couples I have met have sat opposite me, as have many of the single females. It's what ever makes you more comfortable. If you find you get on well you can always change it later on. Usually a kiss and hug on parting with the hint of much more to come.

Or take him home and fuck him. Again up to you!

I prefer to have a social meet first and it can be daunting meeting people for the first time. Remember though the both of you have the advantage here as you already know someone there (your partner) and have them for support while the guy is there meeting two (relative) strangers on his own and is probably even more nervous than you!

As others have said, be yourself, treat it like you're out with a mate. Don't dive into sex talk, gently break the ice and talk normally.

When I've had socials with couples it has tended to follow a similar pattern and it works for me. After some niceties I tend to get asked 'so how are you finding the site' or 'so what are you on the site for' and that tends to be the 'in' for the likes / dislikes / expectations piece.

Good luck! I hope it goes well for you, nervous excitement and some adrenaline is good and adds to the experience provided it doesn't make you a nervous wreck!

Yes, I've had a shake of the hand with Mr and kiss on cheek from Mrs. Not had a lip kiss on the initial greeting but I'm sure others probably have?

The trick is not to overthink it. Just relax and go with the flow. If you click it'll just be simple. If it doesn't feel like it's clicked then you're perfectly entitled to say the spark is missing for you. You don't need to do anything you don't feel comfortable with. Equally he's perfectly entitled to make the same call. You'll know when you meet. Treat it as though you're meeting a new friend and have fun.

I always sit opposite the guy im meeting on a first social unless the seating doesnt allow for that. Prevents them from getting too touchy feely until you are ready. Doesnt always work out that way though

If he is respectful he wouldn't expect to go back to yours unless its something you have spoken about previously. I have had socials that have turned into play meets, one was out of the blue and the other we had discussed beforehand that it was a possibility if we all got on. In this last case I made the excuse to visit the toilet so the couple could talk between themselves. Usually I take a social to be just that! To see how everyone gets on, with a view to playing another time.

You are under no obligation to take him back to yours or anywhere else.

There are no fast rules for this really. Discuss beforehand perhaps what you want to happen even a get out if you need one. Then just see how things go.

That's a brilliant feeling! I remember the time I met my first ever couple and I was shitting it. It was amazing though and I'll treasure that forever.

I go with an expectation of a social only and if we click, hopefully an invite to meet again at a later point. Most have turned out like that, others have resulted in fun that night ... entirely down to you (and them, of course).

Hopefully you've pitched it as just a social so he doesn't have an expectation of play and so you can mutually agree more if that's what you all want later ...

As said above, don't overthink it, go and have a good time!!

We knew very early on they weren't for us .

We aren't looking to make friends , we are looking for playmates .

There is no way we would have the female speaking on the phone to a potential male playmate either .

It's early days for the op , they need to feel their way , so it's understandable that there are nerves . If this is the way they feel comfortable then great .

I am very shy myself and get extremely nervous but I let my houmor and personality shine as much as I can.

The second couple I met for a social she got very very d*unk as she was nervous but we had talked on the phone before hand and flirted on txt so I didn't mind.

When we did meet for fun it was much more relaxed.

So to sum up

Be yourselves

Don't drink too much

Let your personality shine

The point about a social is to meet without any pressure. It really is just a drink and a chat.

So long as you have the social skills to do that with friends you will be fine

Butterflies is good, real nerves is not. But don't use drink to calm them.

Something I initially worried about was other people overhearing our conversation. Now I realise that no one else is listening and there are other words you can use to sort of disguise what you are talking about.

Though most socials I've had end up chatting about everything but Fab

A note from a single guy meeting couples:

On the very rare occaisions (only 2) that I have been successful enough to meet couples the first time we met in a pub and the lady liked the look of my suit and my aftershave (she told me afterwards) that she gave me a big, tongue down the throat snog and grabbed my c&b. That kind of broke the ice.

The second time meeting a new couple for the first time - was like an interview, they did not seem at all thrilled to meet me. But when we went back to theirs - the mood completely changed and a good time was had by all.

Trust me that the single guy is a lot more nervous then you.

As I read through this post I can hear how sometimes advice can be taken far too serious.

This is how it works for US. If we choose to have a social. The only rule we stick to is choose a busy pub. And make sure all parties know it's a social. Nothing worse than walking into a quite pub with no atmosphere and then having to whisper to each other.

We have had great socials where we have had a second as it was a great night. We have had not so great socials where the people we met didn't flick our switch. But that's what socials are for. To see if you click.

But what works for some doesn't work for others. Just chill out. Don't make too many unnecessary rules. Just think you are meeting friends for a drink and let the night/day go with the flow.

We like socials and in our opinion it's always made for a great sexy event afterwards.

That's what we did sit opposite and wife signalled me by crossing her leg left few times so wife can talk to him even though he rubbed his hand on wife leg which was hot
