I'm a single going through a dry spell here on Fabs and wanted to get some feedback on my profile and what might need changing. Also, what you would like to see in a message from a single guy? The polite, get to know you approach just keeps getting deleted.

You know I'm actually not not looking for feedback exactly, more like "would you like to get to know this person"

I think I posed the question wrong. That's the kind of feedback i'm after

You just have to stick with it, you think you are having a dry spell, I have had one meet in 9 months of being on here.

More than one line-check

Polite and well written-check

Pics on profile-check

Made sure you are within the boundaries of what they are looking for-check

Put the the word they want you to in the mail subject so they can see you've read profile-check

I totally agree-different strokes

for different folks etc etc

However when you've taken the trouble to make sure you fit into someone's criteria then I think it's rude to not even send a no thanks back.

And as for the old 'unsolicited messages' some people moan about-you're on a swingers site-you put an ad up so you can get sex!

I never send a message to someone who isn't looking for something that isn't me-tho I guess plenty do.

I guess couples and females are lucky that there are a disproportionate amount of guys willing to send messages as some of the attitude you get from some of them is shocking(even if you've done everything right!)...

Absolutely,and everyone is free to say no-but a no thanks would be nice...

If I've taken the trouble to type out a nice message then it's not too much to expect a message back-even a no thanks,is it?

Couples and females say they are sick of one-liners from guys who don't meet their criteria-I don't do that...
