Gents generally go jeans and a shirt. Couples don't have to dress down either. Single guys (only on Fridays and Sundays) have to dress down for the play areas so often arrive in comfy gear and get changed straight away | |||

"Not sure what's usual as we don't go often enough, but every time we've been, most people are nude. But the main point is do what you want and are comfortable in. Good idea to go with the man in shirt and trousers, it's not just down to the ladies to dress to impress. For newbies we'd recommended couple's only nights, but each to their own. Make sure you have your do's and don't sorted before you go in and just relax, no one will pounce all over you it's not a free for all, swingers are very normal people and you can talk to people without it being a prelude to sex. Put a meeting on your profile, saying people who are attending can say hi, so you can have someone to chat to when you arrive as like any situation walking into a room with strangers can be tough breaking the ice. Add to it porn on the TV and people in a range of attire and you can understand why people find making small talk tricky. But someone will be at the bar, just ask if it's their first time or if they have been a few times and what they like about the place. I'd take the newbie tour too, as it gives you some common ground with others having their first time at the club. But do have fun and come back to tell us how it went. | |||

"Op, we have no idea of when you are thinking of going to LC's. We are regulars and you are most welcome to come and chat to us if we are in on the same night. Also, this Saturday is the monthly theme night - Naughty Dr's and Nurses. Some people dress up for it, though normal dress is ok too. As it's Saturday, it is as mentioned above, couples and single ladies only. "Thankyou very much it's more than likely not the next two Saturday but one after that ( hairdresser comes ever 8weeks so wife wants her hair doing lol) will be a Saturday for sure | |||

"There are lockers with a £5 returnable deposit, so it's easy for a woman to start with more conventional clothes, and leave the more race clothing (basques, sexy underwear, short dresses with plunging necklines etc) to change into when she feels comfortable. La Chambre is an easy going venue, people are relaxed and all types of clothing from none at all, through lingerie to cocktail dresses can be seen. After all once the action starts most clothes come off. Also don't be put off going on a Friday - we enjoy the single guys, who on the whole are respectful. Just depends on what you are looking for.
