Hi all, I'm thinking about going to the Attic for the first time Saturday. Any advice for a single first timer?

Brighton - even Hove!

I've never been to one but I'd be myself, socialable and go up and say hello to people, say to the hosts or managers that you're new and to show you round, don't get d*unk, don't be a wall flower, don't follow couples about. Treat it as a club with some sexy going on. Enjoy it and don't expect to have sex. Any sex will be an added bonus not the be all and end all.

Smart/casual - like you would for a night on the town. Look and smell nice.

What else were you thinking? Yes, I've got loads of good ideas about what I'd wear but I feel I'm spoon feeding you so would be more interested in knowing what you'd think was suitable attire?

I only live a 10 min walk away, and have been a couple of times. Ron is a great host and will show you round the place. As others have said, smart casual is cool. I'm fairly outgoing in a social setting so making contact and chatting to people isn't really a problem for me, but can usually tell if someone isn't interested.

By all means have a couple of bevvies if you feel nervous, but don't get d*unk.

Good luck, enjoy yourself have fun and make some friends

I'll be there on Saturday myself.

As everyone has said, don't get d*unk, be socialable, don't be a prick and be yourself. Unless you are a prick, then don't be yourself...

It's a good club, but only you can ensure you have a good night.

I prefer to go on Sat nights, as it is far more inclusive.
