I love the "help me with my profile" threads but who on here reckons they are truly helpful with their advices and can offer something worthwhile.

Unlike my good self who would be useless in any sort of advisory role.

Well it seems to me that most "help me with my profile" threads are actually "get in touch with me" pleas with no real interest in advice or profile improvement at all.

Attention seeking , that's all.

Problem is everyone sees things differently. So everyones advice differs.

I do like the threads that almost everyone gives similar advice in yet the OP ignores.... then continues to moan that they dont get any meets.

The worst OPs are those who are defensive with a "yeah but....." For every sensible positive and helpful suggestion made.

Some just cannot be helped.

Going off on tangent, when I was young and had a birthday party at a Bernie Inn my friend asked for a chicken Gordon Bennett instead of cordon bleu.

Lucky escape. Then. May be different now.

Are you perhaps referring to the highly publicised theft of my profile about three weeks ago.

The most astonishing thing was that the theft was exposed in the forum ,but he just hung onto it, thinking he had done no wrong!!

Not sure I'd recommend to the Michelin Guide. The restaurant that is. Thinking about isn't Gordon Blue one of the porn names a Facebook app would come up with?
