Hi everyone, would you be so kind as to offer some feedback on my profile please. I'm not getting much luck at the moment. Two of the three verifications I have are from people who I met years ago! I'm not getting many replies to messages either at the moment. Any advice would be appreciated.

You are doing alright. Your pictures are not very good. Half of your text seems to be about a previous profile and nothing reveals anything positive about your personality or character. And, no, very few people will bother to enquire so those pleas to "just ask" are likely to fall on deaf ears.

Imagine that you are trying to impress a lady socially. What would you say about yourself and what you can offer? None of that comes across.

The first paragraph is pretty irrelevant to be honest, it just seems you're trying to justify your lack of recent meets. Try some better pics also, torso, bum, looking smart in a suit etc. Good luck.

yes I agree just get your head down and message and remember 90% of your messages won't be read anyway its just the 10% you are working with and have patience be polite and do better pics with a smile

You will also get more replies once you've sorted out your profile, which is not looking good for reasons already outlined above.

Ask yourself "Would I answer a message from someone with this profile?"...
