Following on from the couples thread .... how about singles.

I was introduced to the site by a guy I was dating and it took me ages to get my head around it. Went along with it, meeting single guys and couples, enjoyed it in the moment, but ultimately it broke us up. Then I decided to take ownership of me and my sexuality and develop it on my own, for me. I saw it as cutting out the middle man. Over four years later and still going, on my terms .... now I also swing with my partner, as well as alone, met him on here, and certainly not a middle man but a man in his own right.

I've been doing this sort of thing on my own for about 15 years. I started on Connections phone site, spoke to a couple of guys who introduced me to clubs and dogging, then joined AFF and had some excellent fun. I took a break for a couple of years, went back to AFF, then spoke to someone who recommended this site. I've been on here since.

My ex suggested we came on here as a couple but I find it uncomfortable being on here with him. He deleted our profile and said he didn't like the thought of being on here without me. Funnily enough I then found he had an account of his own which had been created long before he made our profile and was cheating so I ended the relationship now im on here and enjoying having my own profile and my own fun

I found the site whilst swinging with my ex partner. We had a couples profile on a different site, but I soon realised he was flying solo most of the time. Then a few years ago I discovered that "swinging" wasn't just middle aged couples getting together to swap wives. So I started calling myself a swinger.

One of my partners is a swinger too, although we don't generally swing together. One of my partners is not a swinger.

Well, my ex enjoyed a bit of kink. Tying up, spanking etc. I likes some of that too and enjoy being exhibitionist, having had sex in public places a lot with an earlier ex. That's one part.

Another part is I'm now juggling college and work, next to zero free time means no relationships that come with strings attached.

I'd just come out of my first long term relationship and I decided to stay single for a while and whilst I'm single why not experiment. I signed up to SwingingHeaven and the day I did I ended up in a car park in the New Forest with a husband and wife! Yes I got very lucky. This was about ten years ago now. I've not had masses of meets over the years as I've had other relationships since so I've only swung in between those.

A friend introduced me to this site a few years ago. At first I was a bit overwhelmed by it.

I've spent many years being the other woman and it was great in a lot of ways. He gave me confidence to explore and empowered me. Hes also on here. As a result though I saw fab as mainly a place for chat and a social.

However I've now come to the point of realising now is very much my time to do my own thing. Getting emotionally involved with someone is not going to be on my agenda for a very long time again.

As such my fab experience will be likely entering a new chapter. I'm scared but excited.

I hope it means his time here will also evolve and he too will enjoy new and exciting experiences.

A friend who I had met on POF convinced me to take a sneaky peek! I'd been in a long term relationship before that which had seriously knocked my confidence and I'd become very vanilla, prudish even.

It took me a while to get my head around fab and the whole lifestyle but after closing my eyes, diving in and hoping for the best...I've met some great people and have friends now that I never would have met otherwise.

My friend was told she had a profile on here. It was clear from the profile that it was somebody that knew her. The police couldn't do anything so I signed up to try find out who it was.

I soon forgot what I originally signed up for, never did get round to finding who it was. That profile has gone now!

That was over 4 years ago and I've had some of the best times of my life!

I started about 17 years ago. Saw an advert for a quarterly magazine in the back of escort or club magazine. Sent off for it. Found a few couples and singles in my area. Wrote an sae to several, got a couple of replies, one from a single fem, had a meet and went from there.

Then they started publishing phone numbers. Sent in my own ad, had a few timewasters, before being text by a couple, met for a social, then a week later joined them and another guy for mfmm.

I used to be sexually liberated in my 20's. Then had a disastrous marriage that left me with guilt, shame and feeling uptight about my past.

Years later after being celibate and alone for 4 years, I met a lovely kind guy who eventually showed me his kinky side which wasn't my thing.
