I was just wondering how long roughly was it from registering to getting any interest/a meet

Had a quick look at your peofile and you joined 2 weeks ago. If you think in terms of months before a meet rather than weeks that is more realistic. Use forums ( as you have ) and chat rooms to get yourself known.. Patience is the key. Good luck pal and enjoy.

It varies from man to man, but most wait about 6 month I think. It took us more than two weeks to have our first meet, and we are a couple

I think it might do you some good to visit a club, if it is something you may be interested in.

I like your profile, though, so that's a good start!

It's the only way to go

Think about it

Clubs make money by people meeting

Socials are not socials if people don't attend

Websites make money by membership

We always remember the people we meet in person

Don't have a clue who the others are

Took me 4 weeks for my first meet. Good luck fella. I'm sure you'll be having fun in no time. Just remember don't put too much pressure on yourself to get a meet ASAP, don't pester people for a meet within minutes of messaging someone and mostly be a gentleman. Women appreciate that not just on here but in general.

It's a good profile for a newbie! You're not bad looking at all and you're articulate and amusing - good as most women are looking for more than a penis!

Not sure where in the north west you are - but there are LOADS of great clubs in the north west - take the plunge and go to a club/social!

I went alone the first time - I was scared shitless but I lived to tell the tale!

When at a club/social don't leer at people, don't follow people around, and don't just sit in a corner alone and expect people to come to you - it won't happen!

Be friendly, open and engaging.

Smile a lot

Don't make crude remarks

Talk for some time before playing is even mentioned

Don't get d*unk

Always have condoms handy - but not obviously on show

Just chat to singles/couples the same way as you would in a bar

Go with the intention of having a great time - if you have great sex too that's a bonus!

Remember to drop your fab name in conversation so people can verify you if they wish.

Chatting to the bar staff if they have time is a good idea! They're generally very friendly and good at calming nerves - and if you're friendly and polite and create a good impression - they're likely to verify you if you ask nicely!

Ensure you don't send crap messages and get the interested but not too pushy balance right and you'll be fine.

I don't suppose you happen to feel like relocating nearer to Norfolk, do you?

OP: If it's true, and you feel that other people should know you're not that confident before meeting, then leave it on there. Better to have fewer meets than to end up in a situation where you're not comfortable.

Maybe word it a bit differently though – e.g. 'I sometimes need a bit of encouraging to come out of my shell...'.

Could be a long wait. Down to luck more than anything. If you target certain ladies or Couples your message may not even be seen let alone read. Getting yourself known in the forums and chat rooms is a good idea, but remember they are a very small part of the site. You have a good profile so that's a positive. Good luck.

It didn't take me long to meet people, but that's due to me going out to a club and getting myself known to people.

The forum is a good way to start conversations, interesting topics get good replies.

Not looked at your profile, but you seem chatty enough on here, keep up like that and i'm sure people will get to know you over time.
