You can upload one, but keep it private, so wont be shown to the public in either friends gallery or public gallery, but YOU will be able to see it when you go into Your Pictures.

Remember face pics don't have to be naughty/naked pictures, they can just be vanilla pictures. To my Mrs, the most important thing is the looking friendly, so try to pick a face picture where you are naturally smiling because you were happy, rather than a forced smile, and rather than what I call the "serial killer" look that you see on some profiles.

Good luck

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. Also it doesn't come up with the option to send a pic with it. Do I have to be on the desktop version??

I'm on the mobile version and it comes up beneath the blank text box, 'click to add pictures' or something.

You can only send pictures if you have uploaded pictures to fab.

I know Fab has also added a function where you can tick a box to delete a pic after the message has been read but I'm not sure if it does what it says.

My tip would be to upload the same face pic twice to your Private Gallery, then when you're messaging you can add your pic to in a mail (Add Photo in Mail), then delete the pic yourself in Manage Photos after you're sure your mail has been read (see Sent Mail for when your message has been Read). That still leaves you a duplicate in your Private Gallery should you wish to use that later.
