My tips: Don't give your address to anyone. Obviously if you accommodate at home that is a useless tip.

Use a cheap phone for your meets that isn't connected to your social networks.

Don't tell your friends what you are doing,sometimes they aren't as good a friend as you think.

Don't give personal details to anyone,if you're booking into a hotel you book in alone in case they ask for anything you want to keep private.

If you're married don't leave your phone where your spouse can find it.

I hope they are of some use to you.
