So I get banned from fab tonight having parked myself in a non directing chat room. I had chatted to several people for a few hours and then make a flippant comment "move your hands" I got told by 2 people that I had talked to not to direct. The next thing is bang timeout for an hour....Now hang on.... No warning as a few other had had and I usually see going on....No consideration made to the fact that I had been respectful to all in the room for a few hours or the fact that I am a subscriber and have been for years....Now yes I know some people are going to say you know the rules then...So ok why is it ok for some people to make such comments and not get banned just because they happen to have known the people in the room for a lot longer.... Moderators need to be giving out a consistent approach and not just get power crazy and block people like I have been tonight.....And lets see if this post gets taken down just because I have spoken out.....

The first rule about ban club, is don't talk about ban club!

If you have a problem, why not mail admin or the mod concerned direct. People on the forums won't be able to help you.

They do that in forums too, and a 24 hour ban for something I didn't even do was a piss take!

Contacted admin about this over a week ago, still no response.

Moaning about the behaviour of chat mode in the forum is pretty pointless. They won't see it and neither will admin in this section I doubt. Contact admin directly if you have a problem.

yeah... but its like the longest 60 minutes ever!!!!!

serious.... its only an hour... go clean up the house... or watch MOTD, or listen to the radio.... just.... anything!!!!

You say you were in a A non directing room.... Therefore it Means no directing. Why should they have to warn you?

i went into chat to verify someone so asked him to turn his cam on so i could and got told off too, that's how it is.

just pm whoever you was talking to to let them know and go back on cam after the ban.

If you want to dispute a ban the best thing to do is ask Admin to review it from the CONTACT button as disputing it on the forum will end up with a ban from here also.

If Admin think a mistake has been made they will lift your ban and let you know....if they think the ban is the right one you won't hear anything from them.
