FabSwingers.com forum: Do we need a couples profile?

I have met a female from here a few times & we have some fantasies we want to explore that would involve other people.

We only want to do this on rare occasions...but...should we make a couples profile for this or can we just use our single profiles for it? I've seen plenty of single profiles that say "only meet with my fb" or whatever, it's not like that for us. Just don't want to give off the wrong impression or wrong vibes. What do people think of two singles using their single profiles to meet together?

personally I dont see the point at all..unless you are a couple..

I find quick fix profiles a bit daft..why not just use the strengths of the individual profiles?- unless its planned to ditch those..

I don't see any plan to ditch the single profiles, it's not like we plan to be exclusive. We just have some occasional fantasies that will involve other people.

We've Created a couples profile. We are looking at meeting other couples specifically from that profile. Maintaining our singles profiles for individual needs. I don't see an issue.

and why not just do that as singles...I meet with some of my fem pals, with groups of people...we just dont see the need for a cpls profile..

It's up to you how you want to play it. You can either keep your single profile, but state that you (and on hers too), play as a couple too sometimes and refer to the other single profile; or just set up a couple's profile solely for playing as a couple and refer to your single profiles to play as a single. That's how we do it and nothing wrong with it, as long as you don't verify yourselves.

If a pair of singles wanted to play with us, a message from both singles to us to confirm that it's the real deal would help. It would be better than an unfilled temporary couple profile.

Had quite a few messages from a single male profile claiming to be bringing a female to a meet, then disappearing when asked for the female to message us to confirm. Some men will play with *any* female, most won't. Certainly won't fall for 'oh well she was supposed to come but let's play anyway' scam.

If it's couples you are looking for you might have some issues, we block single men from contacting us (no offence just not our thing) so you might be better off with a couples account too

We don't meet single males and those who claim to be able to produce a female fuck buddy because so many times, they don't actually exist..

We also don't meet single females who suddenly produce a male partner..

We know many people who are the same...

In the end, run your profiles the way you wish. They're not carved in stone and you can always alter your approach if it's not working for you...

Am I not right in thinking that any single profile that states 'only meet with my duck busy' will be turned into a couples profile as the person in question in not meeting as a single? I had a similar problem when we got together as a couple (real, not duck buddy) as we met together as well as meeting alone, but my single profile was turned into a couple one, whereas his was not ... even though I made it clear that I met single women, and only single women alone on my single profile, as well as having sole control of my single profile. I think it is fine to have both and am very strict on those who message my single one who do not fit my personal requirements - they are blocked.

Thanks for all the feedback. I am thinking we might stick to the single profiles with reference to each other as buddies. I know she'd be happy to message anyone who required to speak to the "supposed" fb that I'd be talking about.

I'm thinking that if we create a couples profile, it'll rarely get used & therefore could fall into the trap of being online for a long while but unverified & come across as fake. I've enough verifications that I'm clearly not fake.

But I just wanted to get some feedback on how it would look to other people looking on, whether the couples profile would be a good idea or not.

I think you do, simply for the fact wed never find you if you weren't the gender we wanted at that point. It then outs a lot of effort on you to search and explain x

I have a couples profile with my BF. I hid it a while back since we rarely use it; and are still unverified as a couple since we have tended to meet those we already knew and at clubs and I always forget to ask for a verification. When it was active I had a section informing people who we were as singles and directing people there if they only wanted one of us since I felt the same about it feeling weird arranging meets via a single profile for the two of us to meet, hence why I set it up in the first place.
