I only lasted 36 hours..... Oops

But kept it squeaky clean & have never regretted having it done.

I had the bar originally but changed it to a ring which I find much more comfortable.

If u r playing just be aware that a lot of guys don't realise how sensitive it can be & can be quite heavy handed, so I always mention it first & ask them to be a bit more careful.

Firstly I love body mods and think the clit piercing (vch) is stunning - that is the subjective bit!

Objectively select the piercer with care - a friend recently used blue banana for a navel and they pierced it too shallow, wrong gauge and it became infected despite regular and appropriate care. She had thought of getting her clit hood done too but decided against it after that! So question the piercer and seek recommendations

Not necessarily. Several friends of mine have had their clip pierced and a piercing friend of mine will do them. Same as any piercing, it has the potential to alter sensations but that's why informed consent should be given.

I've had a vch twice( I retired the first one but I missed it), have 2 labia piercings and have had nipples pierced(retired as didn't heal well at all)

I don't regret any of them, the vhc was the easiest and was nothing more than a sharp scratch, it healed very quickly and had no impact on my sex life.

My labia are still healing but again the actual piercing of them wasn't bad and after a few days of tenderness have been easy enough to cope with.

My nipples on the other hand were painful to be pierced and didn't stop hurting for 9 months which is when I had enough and removed them.

If you want to be pierced then make sure you go to a recommended Piercer and discuss it with them.

Had my hood done a couple of years ago and was recommended I refrain for a couple of weeks. I didn;t and it didn't cause any problems. No infections as long as you keep it clean. Absolutely love it....makes the sensations way more intense. Do it...like others have said, if you don;t like it you can take it out and will heal up quickly. Enjoy. x

I had mine done about 15 years ago, I was never that sensitive down there and hoped it would help

but it didn't, I have heard some women say orgasums are better after being pierced but for me I find it worse, I find it much harder to orgasum now than I did before
