Our first club experience was a very bad one but thankfully we didn't let it put us off trying others!

The club was dirty, very few members in attendance who were all very standoff-ish and unwelcoming, used razors on the bathroom floors, scrapped lockers and wood stacked up in the hot tub area and the drinks were way over priced.

Plus we chose to go the night we did (couples night) as they claimed to only allow a select few, well known to the club & trusted single men, to attend. We then were making small talk with a single guy who said it was his first time too and he wasn't local so not known to anyone.

We left an honest review of the place afterwards and then started receiving threats from some staff and regular members! It closed down only a couple of months after and we became regulars at another local club that is fantastic with lovely members.

Apart from 3 diff blokes at different clubs i went to with 2 diff lasies clubs wwre great.

We've frequented the club in Aberdeen on many occasions, and have never had any issues. Everyone is polite, friendly and respectful.

I've been to After8 in Edinburgh once, and a guy there kissed me without any encouragement to do so. As I was putting on my coat to leave at that point, it wasn't a huge deal and I pulled away from him. Had he been more aggressive though, my full weight would have come down on his foot.

It's probably, and hopefully, much smaller number than it appears on a post such as this where negative experiences are being sought. I (female half) have been to clubs less than 10 times and the negatives were 3 men from probably hundreds who were there over the same nights combined. Just my opinion, of course.

I've been to lots of different clubs both alone and as a couple. Never had any issues. My most recent club visit I was on my own. Lots of single guys. They were all very respectful and polite. No-one did anything at all that was in any way rude.

Thanks, its not so much the wrong idea as it is that some of these instances would put me off meets permanently.

I have had some bad experiences meeting privately but they really do not compare to those listed here.

You have to bear in mind the big difference between clubs and private meets are that with private meets you specifically agree to meet the person/people involved and also understand it is likely to lead to sex. The issue I have with the club scene is that from some of the aforementioned posts sound more like an attack than anything else

But they are the exception, not the norm. Which is why they end up on here. I have been swinging for years, and visiting clubs for years (and lots of different clubs) and, apart from the club I posted about up thread, and one particularly persistent guy in Chams, I have not experienced anything bad. In fact, the single man conga everyone always talks about? Never had one. In fact I struggle to get interest at clubs sometimes.

The only way to form an impression of clubs is to go.

Agreed but.... I've had rare incidents in swinging clubs yet I've had so so many incidents in ordinary nightclubs of people grabbing me or touching me as I walk past.

There are always the few that spoil things for the majority. Please don't let bad experience of others put you off. My advice is, be firm with others and if something is happening that you're not happy about, seek the staff straight away.

In hindsight, I should have kicked up more of a fuss and demanded better customer service with regards to how the incident I had was dealt with or left immediately.

I dare say if you post and ask folks about bad experiences in swinging you will get far more stories in 1:1 meets than you ever will in a club environment. Searching the forms will bring some of these up in previous posts).

We've been to over 30 clubs in 5 country's and while we can relate to many of the story's above we've never had what we would call a really bad experience.

We've had loads of uninvited gropers but can only remember one occasion in a German club when a polite no wasn't enough (although it is more often than not a yes

) and after he tried the same trick on another couple the owner chucked him out. To be honest if we chose to play in a mixed open playroom we accept them part of the territory. If that isn't what you want then better to use private rooms. I can never understand why anyone would go into a mixed dark room for example then complain they got groped.

In the German and Dutch clubs they usually start with a gentle stroke of an arm or a leg then slowly move on to more intimate areas. At some point they will be invited to go further or not.

They can be a bit more pushy in the French and Spanish clubs but again we have never had a real problem.

If we do have a problem with some it's the ones who seem OK at first then seem to think that a pussy is a coal mine to be dug out. We always stop them straight away.

We really enjoy our club nights (and sometimes days) and much prefer clubs to private meets. For example: You could meet someone off here, have a drink and a chat, think all is well, then get into the bedroom and find out that he hasn't got a clue, so you end up with either a crap or wasted night.

In a club you can just move on to the next one. It works for us.

You should go! We've had bad experiences in clubs but have had worse experiences in private...we have has 10 times more fun in class than we've had bad times. I would definitely recommend it, as others have said this thread is asking for bad club experiences if there was a contrasting thread about good experiences would you go? I bet it'd be a busier thread.

Our first time in a club I got ruffied if that's the right word lol I had my drink spiked basically luckily my hubby knew I hadn't had that much to drink and saw the effects straight away I just thought I must have drank more than I thought and went outsider for some fresh air. Hubby followed me and I laid on a bench for what felt like hours with people round me talking and lifting my head up shining lights in my eyes but I couldn't talk and I couldn't move but I could hear everything going on around me. It was very weird and afterwards very scary as to what could have happened. the owners were great fed me sugary drinks etc until I started to make sense and then took us back to the hotel. It wasn't their fault and why oh why would someone do that in a sex club, we are all there for the same thing it makes no sense but apparently it does happen. We did go back to the club and never had any problems again we just watch our drinks a lot more everywhere to be honest than we ever did. Don't let this put you off clubs are great I think it was just a weird one off just watch your drinks is all I would say
