Hi,

Husband and I are toying with the idea of going dogging. What should we expect? Will it be mainly men? We're new to the lifestyle and are just exploring a little at the moment

Your profile says 'not looking for single guys' and that you're looking for women only. The dogging 'experience' may come as a considerable disappointment to you, depending on what your expectations are. Needless to say, the male participants outnumber all the others.

Ah c'mon guys they're looking for some help not a critique!

My own experiences have been disappointment, usually a few cars with single guys in all waiting for something to happen before driving off again

I think the days of turning up at random are gone and now most meets are planned in advance, couples post on here, vet the replies and then meet the ones they choose at a private location rather than a known dogging spot.

Depending on when you go (Fri and Sat far busier) and where you go, you'll arrive and there will be a a few cars there, perhaps less. Mostly guys in the cars but there will be the odd couple, although infrequently. You'll pull up and being a couple your car will attract interest. Then you might get followed if you move off. The experienced doggers would allow you to settle and wait to see what your intentions are. The polite ones will ask before becoming involved.

If it's couples you want to meet exclusively, best arranging that on here with those of similar interest with the venue being a non-dogging location but still private. Be prepared for no-shows however.

I don't think the random doggin experience has gone at all. What seems to have changed is that guys arrive, see nothing happening, then drive off. Most don't seem to realise that you need to wait quite some time (usually) to see anything crack off.

OP - Don't go with any expectations, different areas tend to have different regulars and different experiences. Don't for get, you can drive away t any time!

From experience, the single men don't let you settle before they start prowling around the car - if you drive off they will follow you to the next car park. Never yet seen another Couple at a dogging site.

The thing I found most disappointing, when I've checked dogging vids on the hamster site.

Nobody brings their dog.

Why bother then?

Not like the good old days when my neighbour used to take an hour, late at night, walking his pooch up + down the road. Guess he was old skool

Yes we are all entitled to our opinions .

And ours is that your opinion is based on guesswork and not reality , so it's not worth much at all is it ?

The men are no worse than the desperate men in a club , and as for hygiene - everyone we have met have been impeccably clean .

We spent three years in the club scene and found equally as many unwashed mingers at clubs .

What we have found since we started dogging is that there are lot less judgemental people enjoying the dogging than there are on these forums .

Hi like any activities on here there is a certain element of pot luck.

Being near Blackburn I can say that there are some fairly busy dogging venues and some lovely countryside (as opposed to just dogging places) maybe choose some people to go dogging with rather than leaving it to total chance?

This may not be absolute definition of dogging but may be a good way to start.

She reads in interest. Never been myself but know loads that have, heard the stories and wanted to try. Seems quite negative on here where most of the people I've spoken to it has been a positive experience. I do believe we have some thriving sites around my area though. Which I'm sure helps.

So agree with "Gloswingers" we are a couple who have been doggers for 20 years, so many people on here base their answers on what they guess dogging involves, never having been at all, crap like oh everyone is dirty and you will catch every disease known, we have had so much fun over the years, even getting out of the car to give a full on show on a wooden picnic table for around 20 men, all clean all polite and all very grateful for such a hardcore show to wank about, there have been times when we have had to tell people to walk on as we were not interested, and even times when we have allowed touching or a bj, also had fun with other couples we have seen there, dogging can be whatever it is your wish to make it, its your game you set the rules (just watch out for plod and any vanilla passers by) don't let the kill joys on here tell you what you should or shouldn't do and yes if you want to save some time arrange it like an outdoor meet on here ...

I have been to my local dogging site a couple of times. Probably not hung around long enough for a couple to appear, just desperate bi guys. One particular guy the last time left me feeling rather uncomfortable and unsafe and that was still in daylight hours!

Being rather selective as to who I will play with I think I would be waiting a very long time at a dogging site! Unless it's something pre arranged it's not for me.

Scary wild west fun. We did it once many years ago but found it to be altogether too risky. Never say never again but doubt if we will. A bit of a queue formed for servicing and we just thought. Bloody hell. if a police car comes along now we are going to be in trouble.

The adrenalin rush though is pure and to be fair the guys were all polite but what if they weren't. We just felt wow. This is sex at it's dirtiest and riskiest. Once in a lifetime is enough LOL.

And that's your choice which we ffully respect .

What we don't respect is the outright condemnation and disdain you have shown on this thread - despite the fact that you have never done it !

Quite how you feel you can make reasoned comments on a thread that asks what one can expect from dogging is beyond us . A bit like adding a comment on trip advisor for a holiday to Greece when youve never been .

We have learned to accept that Iit's not for everyone and that's perfectly fine . Each to their own and all that . And we totally get the comments from those who tried it and didn't like it . I'm afraid we aren't that desperate for a shag at all , but thank you for your good wishes towards our safety .

For anyone who is genuinely interested in dogging / outdoor fun here's a few pointers .

Stay safe , don't play if you think there are any non doggers about .

Be respectful to the surroundings , clean up afterwards , don't leave wipes , tissues , condoms lying around .

Always set your boundaries before playing . Stick to.them whatever . Never feel pressured .

Always stay in control . Be firm if you don't want to play with the mingers (

) some of them may be happy to keep watch for you . A bit of respect goes a long way .

Arrange to met like minded people from fab at the venue . This establishes mutual attraction and often gets things started nicely .

And above all enjoy it .... don't let your nerves be anything more than a stimulant . The adrenaline rush is great , and the sponenaity unbeatable

Some people appear to have had bad experiences, I suspect they found a site online and just popped along a big mistake, we have over the years had some great times and a few bad,the bad doggers are easily spotted and avoided but there is no shortage of them that is true..

A last comment from us as this thread seems to have attracted the usual idiots, to any couples interested in trying dogging, treat the experience as if you are just pulling up at a lovers lane somewhere, enjoy each other a bit with the windows up and doors locked, if someone comes along stop what you are doing wave them over wind the window down an inch and talk to them, if you don't like the look of them, drive off, it's as simple as that, you are in charge, just because you call it dogging doesn't mean you have to do anything with anyone who turns up, its always your choice you can do what ever you are comfortable with or nothing at all, we have had so much fun over the years and have always kept ourselves safe, even been spoken to by the police a few times, but as we have always stopped and rearranged our clothing before they approach us, we have been doing nothing wrong, (choose a spot where you can see all exits from a distance and use doggers to keep watch, they are always happy to help in return for a show) other people are comfortable to attend clubs for a bareback gang bang, that's their choice, much riskier and something we would never do, just our opinion ... and to all those who have never been but still have an opinion, if you have nothing nice to say, try saying nothing ...

It depends on how you go about it , we went a few times years ago and to be honest it holds little to no interest for us as if we wanted to play with random people or people we had arranged to meet and be watched by lots of men we would go to the relative comfort of a club. Our main issue is not one of safety as that's a choice you make , our issue is one of non concent as playing in public areas you run the risk of exposing non consenting people's to your activities sometimes kids depending on your choice of time and location. Also it's the general mess that's left behind at these areas after which is no better than a addict leaving a used needle behind.

I once heard someone say that dogging was like fishing , effectively unless you arrange to meet someone apart from single guys you could be sat for hours or days on end waiting for a bite ??

We have seen men who take a packed lunch and a flask and wait all night for some action come rain or shine

Whatever you do or how you do it have respect for others who don't do it and you should be fine

Totally agree but it does seem to be beyond the vast majority of people at 2 well known locations in our area one of which actuall happens to be part of the public footpath which forms the Cotswold way and is frequented by families and kids who have to avoid the discarded condoms and tissues , it only takes a small minority to give the rest a bad name so it's the responsibility of the rest to make sure it doesn't happen and give what you do a bad reputation that said the amount of stuff discarded it's more than a minority.

I Love dogging and have had really good nights with no 2 the same!

We dog in the New Forest. I go with a fuck buddy. He "hosts" the meets. so depending on who's there when we arrive, usually single men, lots of. We either wind the windows down and start 1 on 1. Or I get out and make a show in the back of the car (estate boot). My host knows what I like and will direct the men...condoms have a play, she like s cum in her mouth ect. By doing a show, makes sure the men are hard. I dont want to waste time making stiffies. He will po lightly say no to the men he knows I wont go near.

I find that if theres another fem in the car park, they get funny as they like all the men to themselves. So we move on.

Don't play with anyone on drink or drugs. Make sure that one man does not hog all the action, give others a chance. Have plenty of condoms to hand out. Although they should take their own. Clean up afterwards. Condoms, wipes ect. Complaints will bring the Police around ect.

Well what to expect , advise you take a crossword to do , as they will all sit in there cars dicking about with there phone , the old im on a call . Then if one does venture out they all get a dose of bravado . If you do play then be prepared for you car to be surrounded . Then if you do leave the venue don't go home take a scenic drive as most will follow .

Take a book, torch, and a flask, as no one comes over to chat, guys sit in their cars waiting for you to go to them, its pretty crap these days, your best off arranging an out door meet with guys you know will show up xx

Forget it - 95% gay men now - and hygiene leaves an awful lot to be desired. Used to be fun years ago - had it now in our experience.

Yes we can see from your photos lol ! Think Greater Manchester Police have had a real clampdown - all the old favourite haunts now gated off or patrolled regularly by police - who profess to have no manpower to deal with crime ! lol

I used to frequent a place in my early 20's with a boyfriend when we wanted a bit of fun it was a dark secluded car park in some woods ... I didn't know at the time a popular dogging area. Drove by it a few weeks ago with the husband

it's now gated off ...

I've been dogging many year all over the UK and a few spots in Europe,me and experienced doggers always give a cpl or fem time to feel comfortable being there before approaching wait for the invites always on there terms always engage in chat and keep the idiots in check,after all I want them to come back and keep coming back because they enjoyed it,the pussy idiot types tend to be newbies who think it's a free for all,the chat boy racers have usually been tucked up in bed by 11 pm ,any clowns are usually sorted by the regulars give it a try I'd say it's safer than a blind meet of here letting a stranger in your home alone,at least there are others about most of them decent blokes just looking for a bit of a frill

a few people are asking where is best to go.

I have never gone out dogging but do find myself out quite often late of an evening.

I have found that when it is dark most beauty spots with car parks become potential dogging spots.

A few times I have bought a take away, pulled onto a carpark and had a few lights flash me/us.

The last time I was on a dogging site I had been to a meet off here which ended quicker then expected (I don't think he fancied me) I pulled up on a carpark whilst trying to fix another meet when a car pulled next to me.

There was two gorgeous ladies in there and they put their light on and put down the windows.

One looked at me and smiled and I carried on trying to arrange something.

Then she opened her door and hitched up her skirt, spun her legs around and revealed no knickers!

I mouthed "very nice" then drove off, wondering if they where up for fun, entrapment, police, prostitutes or other because if it seems too good to be true it probably is.

I live near a very active dogging area, I walk my dogs there 2 or 3 times a week early in the morning and sometimes see up to 8 men , but have never seen a female there.
