What to do about hate mail

Hi guys. Just got my first hate mail today and I was wondering if there's anything other than just blocking the person? I'm guy so this is probably trivial compared to the amount of verbal abuse that women and couples get, judging from the notes people leave on their profiles. But if it's that big of a problem why how do people filter them out?

Nothing, ignore it. Blocking only gives them the attention they so desperately crave and they can easily set up multiple accounts.

Report and block as everyone says but also set your filters to stop new members from being able to contact you. It's shocking isn't it.

I got it from a guy. The surprising thing was that he was verified too and had a gold sub

Being verified and paying site support doesn't mean you can't behave like an arse

Report abuse as its unacceptable
