We don't worry about where they live. My only issues with local was the guy that decided to talk to me at the school or the other one that would send me daily updates about what I was wearing or what was on my washing line

The 2nd guy sounds a bit of a prick. We see local folk on here about town regularly. We tend to walk on as we don't want to cause issues but some say hey and some just pass and send a message when they get home. We meet local folk, either M or F.

see that's something to laugh at coz I've been seeing if any of the girls from ere are even up for a chat n point out its 100% discreet coz we're so close! Either they are scared to be found out or are just pure ignorant

I personally don't see a problem with it but if they chose not to meet locally? Just respect their decision not to. Why not branch out? We stayed in Hamilton until 2 years ago and a few nice ladies live all around that area.

Maybe try actually talking to your partner and discussing your feelings, see if they're open to spicing things up a bit and see how it goes.

It's better to be open than to risk hurting anyone's feelings by sneaking about.

living in a small rural town of only c.3000 people with a strong community bond, and bloody nosy at that, I have found people wont risk it, although I probably would, as its as much a risk for me as for them, and prepared to keep it that way. The trouble is being spotted when half the town knows you and your business, or wants to know. If they dont know, they tend to guess it!

This thread appears to be all about the buzz which a guy thinks he would get by cheating on his wife under her nose. It doesn't seem to be enough for him to simply cheat on his wife... he thinks he'd get more of a buzz if it was really close to home and his wife was unaware of it. Perhaps with her best friend or with a neighbor. As there seems to be no added sexual thrill in keeping things so local, I can only interpret that the actual thrill he is seeking is in showing his wife up to be a fool, in sneaking around right under her nose, in purposefully demeaning and degrading her.

Apologies if that seems a bit heavy handed of me... but I can't see any other reason in it all

the wife and I did have a threesome with a guy who lived just 200 yards from us and perhaps that was a bit close. He came round a couple of times suggesting a repeat when we weren't really up for it. Never again as one of the guys I met turned out to be a teacher at my sons school and text me as he was sitting on the table next to mine when I was having a very serious conversation about my son messing up his AS levels. I play local to myself. I play with someone on my street. I play with people further away.

All about disgression when playing with someone close by. I work with the public in my home town, if I tend to get a feeling that it wouldn't be kept between us then it's a no go.

I turn down local people for many reasons. Attached and partner don't know, being pushy, unattractive, not having same interests. I could go on.

For me location has little to do with it, it's more about the person than there postal code

I suppose it is based on my assumption that when I was in a vanilla relationship I deleted my account, so would assume anyone in a committed relationship with someone they had met in the vanilla world to do the same or to have a couple account. I have read many posts on the forum basically blasting married guys for being on here, not necessarily meeting, saying that their wife knew, but no-one really believing them. On other words, blasted for being on here ..... For myself, and in terms of my own relationship, although we state we meet and both have single profiles, in practise we have found that our relationship is the priority and we very rarely get the urge. If and when we decide to give up on the lifestyle, we would delete the accounts, or suspend them as we have enough contacts through friends from the scene by whatsapp and text and no need to frequent the site. Seems a but weird to be blasting men in a relationship for being here and then profess to be one .... glass houses and all that
