Flattery or concern

Firstly not look at me thread as I criticise others for this.

A member viewed me yesterday and was gobsmacked to find the person had copied word for word my profile and I mean everything.

Clearly I cannot name the person and I blocked the member.

Part of me thinks it good the member thought it good enough to use on other hand slightly concerned.

As anyone else come across this.

Yeah it happens all the time. Report the profile to admin. I hadn't given it any deeper thought than that. I suspect it's just laziness rather than anything else. Instant profile is so much easier than creating your own.

It's funnier though when a straight guy copies a bi/curious guys profile word for word and it mentions sucking cocks though.

They don't even seem to proof read what they're pilfering sometimes!

Yep...happened to us too, except the couple who did it winked us, not sure if it was a slip of the finger or to let us know what they'd done or because they were monumentally stupid enough to think we wouldn't notice...reported and blocked them

Almost got taken in by someone who did this to a forum member a while back on my single female profile. The plaguriser had blocked the individual concerned so they couldn't have seen it. Although reported, and account disappeared, he's back with a revised version still based on the profile he copied.

Yes my old profile got copied. Hence the new shit one. He still has my profile though. Probably hasn't got the wit or imagination to follow up on an initial contact though.

I've just read your profile OP and this'd give then a hell of a back history. I bet they can't support it with the positive verification unlike yourself. I'd say just lazy and will get there comeuppance when they can't actually write a first message. I'm horny fancy a fuck just doesn't cut the mustard.

If someone hasn't got the imagination or the motivation to write their own profile they are likely too be a boring fuck so hopefully they won't get any veri's and will give up and get off the site......and OP I must say your profile is good and your member is not bad either!

Not had my profile text copied, too long lol. Have had photos (ones without my face) pinched and used. Reported the person and so did several of my friends. Very annoying. Hence why I'm now photo verified.

We've had a few people tell us they liked phrases we wrote so much they wanted to use them themselves as they described what they were after too! ( Some of those have led to rather nice meets )
