But as others have said, why not talk to the medical professionals that were actually involved with your op, or even your GP. "When my lads were done the stitches dissolved sfter two weeks. Daily salt / dettol baths. Main thing is to have a cotton pad between your penis and underwear. How long should my dissolveable stitches stay in for before dissolving and what would you recommend in regards to showering/bathing" Be very carefule, many on here are advocating baths but with most sugeries you should avoid baths until the wound has healed as it introduces infection. Check with the hospital which carried out the procedure or with your GP | |||

Also not bathing regularly would cause more risk of infection | |||
