How much of a detriment, if ever, is having a young face in comparison to your age on FS?

I think, for women - it's a definite advantage.

For men, however - it could be seen as a ploy to meet older singles/couples

Its a nightmare

Its the most frequent comment i get when sharing my face pics all the time...

When i hit 40 ill probably be more happy about it but right now its not helping me sexually lol x

Quite simply - It could be seen as trying to get around the minimum age accepted on a profile..........

I wish i had a younger looking fave....i spent my 20s wishing i looked older as I was always asked for ID....then i had kids and suddenly started looking older than my age.

As frustrating as it is. ..Make the most of it! !

I still don't get your meaning, If you look young you look young its not going to help you with getting around a minimum age preference,

But its Sunday and am still sleepy

I don't think so. I find it helpful. I like younger men you see,so it helps when you look ten years younger (so I'm told)than you actually are.

I confuse people by the way I hold myself in comparison to how old I look, as people can be surprised that I'm older.

But it's not a bad thing looking young! Be positive, be happy - happiness is much more attractive than most things.

I have the same problem, but meet me in person and the eyes dont lie unfortunately.

Try take it as a compliment... thats the only way to deal with it.

The first time I was asked my age in a pub I was 20. Didn't take it as a compliment then, happy about it now.
