Has moaning about getting no meets ever worked?

I know we get a LOT of threads from single guys complaining that they get no meets, and advice is given and for the most part ignored, largely because the main aim of most of these threads has been to gain attention and contact rather than advice.

I just would like to know if any such threads have actually led to a meet and subsequent success on the site.

I've never bothered going back to advice threads to find out once my generic waffle has been dispensed

Hull but travel regularly

I find if I moan I've had no meets in ooo maybe as long as 3 days it works a treat. Guys on the other hand I doubt it does. Such is fab life

not saw it personally as some never change the profile, its just an attention seeking thread

On occasion, when doing a search, I sometimes notice a lady might have posted a status similar to these whinging threads, usually also stating their intention to leave (of course, they never do).

Both approaches are equally unattractive.

When I see one of these statuses I don't think 'I must contact her immediately and beg for a meet'

Slightly different, but I always love the statuses along the lines of:

'You are all fake'

'Site is shit'

'All stuck up'

The reality is this is the best free site online for something of this nature, so it certainly isn't the site!

Exactly!

The site is not the problem.

As many have suggested to those complaining about their lack of success, they need to look at what they are doing, their approach.

If what they are doing isn't working, then they need to change.

would doubt it to be honest anyone struggling for meets need to look at themselves firstly, I accept the single men to women/couples ratio is a problem but its the same problem for ALL men lol

ive not had much luck with meets tbh, but i fail to see the point of moaning about it on threads, cant be everyone's cup of tea

i doubt it works too personally. how many women want a man that moans about lack of meets.
